It was Parker. 89137 Sorry, I'll clean my lugs out. 89142 Your ears heard right. The commentators were too busy waffling to hear the clear and unequivocal announcement of "Scott Parker" in the background, then promptly said "I think they just gave Shearer man of the match?". They're GREAT.

I could set up a webcam so you can watch me working (that says "working") all night...

Granted, "the Streisand fan of his day" might have been more like it.

Subliminable messages in Tchaikovsky's Fifth tbh.

Luque's left the ground too, apparently. Oh dear.

More chance of being decapitated by a misunderstanding on a messageboard than dying in a car crash on the way to Cape Canaveral tbh.
-
That happened to me once. 88721 You're more likely to die while juggling raw eggs than from getting accidentally launched into space tbh.

Bit of both really, I love Hamburg to bits but I can't deny I'm looking forward to getting back to the UK... still getting used to the idea mind. I've managed to wind up with the best of both worlds, really - I've got a full-time contract doing exactly the kind of stuff I'm doing now (for one of my freelance customers, no less), but I'll still be working from home, so no commute.
-
Fair enough. I'm just worried because I'm going to be living in borderline Millwall territory... but then I should probably be avoiding pubs altogether given that that's the case. Barley Mow sounds like a good shout, not too much of a trek either. Cheers.
-
It certainly does - I was just about to ask you if there are any Sarf London pubs where it's vaguely safe to watch Toon matches. Are there, mind?
-
Yeah, without him singing "Looking For Freedom" at the Brandenburg Gate, there'd be no united Germany! And we wouldn't have to pay so much Soli.... oh, hang on.

Aye, they've all won the league 3 times on the trot and name their biggest CM achievement as managing to get Kaka to the toon. 88251 "My first priority as Newcastle manager will be to buy two DMCs and an AML"
