Cats every time. Until they learn how to open the fridge, eat an entire tub of garlic butter and vomit everywhere.

I hope Roeder's running commentary plugs Shearer's and the club shop at every opportunity, too. "Zoggy is modelling the new training top which you can buy afterwards for a very reasonable price... while as you can see, Luque has soiled his attractive OFFICIAL club shorts after a dodgy sausage from the barbie at Shearer's, which will be serving piss-weak beer to you simple-minded cattle for hours after we've fucked off home so you can go back to your family afterwards and slur 'OMG we beat ManUre LOL' and ignore our current shortcomings... um... I mean look! Keepie-uppies!"

you kidding me? eight legs... all hairy? sounds more like Meenzers idea of a good night out 169666 Quiet night in more like. 169667 169668 Bastids.

Danny will be along soon to defend ELO's virtue.

I reckon this Meenzer's bent if you ask me. 169435 Clears the palate nicely, I'll have you know. Actually, it'd probably go well with a cheeky pink zinfandel...

And before anyone starts, no it's not a euphemism

Camp as tits in many ways, but I don't think he batted for the pink team.

Me too! Truly, we are the butt-buddies of the devil himself. Fiiiine song though. 169280 Oh get in my arms you big lug! Hadnt heard it for ages-wicked song. Puts me in the mood for a bit of Rufus Wainwright-Hallelujah 169293 The kd lang version of that's canny, an' all. What is it with the high dyke/poof-to-non-deviant ratio of "Hallelujah" covers?

Worth it for the Zagreb goal alone. Excellent stuff

Don't worry, you'd have to have done something else with the brolly to fully complete the induction.

Aye, it's always wise to be prepared for the worst money-wise when it comes to spending time in London.
-
Think the last one back from Greenwich is at about 6pm, so be warned. There's a licenced bar on the boat, if that helps.
-
I can but hope.
-
I'm worried about that actually, I haven't driven for about 5 years (basically the whole time I was in Germany - ludicrously good public transport rendered it unnecessary) so I'll probably be hopeless when I do finally get behind the wheel again. Might let an instructor sting me for a short refresher course.

This country is always so grey and miserable

There's one bang on Leicester Square, as it happens, but it's a smidge more expensive than your average 'spoons... If you've got the weather on your side during Friday or Saturday, you could do worse than get yourself out to Greenwich (use Cutty Sark DLR station), potter around the waterfront for a bit then take a boat back along the Thames to Westminster - it takes about an hour (including a stop at Tower Bridge to load/unload people) and you get a good view of all the sights, plus if you use City Cruises (there are several competing operators) you'll often get a canny boatman who'll give you a sarky commentary on what you're seeing. No guarantees though. Or you could just do what I did on my first [x] visits to London and just spend all your time in HMV and Virgin on Oxford Street, obviously.

You have much good time yes!

Birthdays are overrated commercial filth. But have a great one anyway.
