  1. Actually, do you reckon getting "RELEGATION 07" on a shirt would go down well?
  2. How do you freestyle John Barnes? You've got to hold and give, but do it at the right time.
  3. has some remarkable stuff in his mind
  4. has got a bad case of resurrection today
  5. Never mind "settle", if they offered me a draw I'd bite their bloody hand off.

    12 and Holding

Have to confess I hadn't heard of it, but since it's by the same fella who was behind L.I.E., I suppose I'd best check it out.
  7. Oo, good spot re the Aristocrats. Video duly set (how very last-century).
  8. Is that some new gay euphamism??? Nah, that'd be mount the... ....hey, waaaait a minute.
  9. Can't beat a decent veggie stir-fry. Well, obviously you can, but it's still fairly nice.
  10. Since it's hard to blame him for taking the cash and plaudits that the music industry seems happy to spunk all over him, I suppose I have less of a problem with Doherty himself than the stoodenty wankers who hang onto his every word ostensibly because his lifestyle is that of a REAL MAN. It's pretty depressing.
  11. Touristy stuff is tomorrow, weather permitting - it's meant to be a bit nicer the next few days. Definitely going to get up to Kalemegdan, looks spectacular! Fella reckons the Cuban place could be Que Pasa, but if there's one thing I've noticed so far it's that there are literally tons of places to eat and drink in this city. I'm not saying I was expecting a pseudo-Communist hellhole with bread queues, but I'm dead impressed at how into their cafe/bar/live music culture they are.
  12. Vacances of a sort, the fella's over here on his uni year abroad and I've got holiday entitlement to burn before the end of the year, so it seemed a reasonable conclusion. Have found an English-speaking café with awesome pizza and even better cakes, so that's basically where I'm spending most of my time while he's at classes. There's nothing like integrating with the locals.
  13. Aye, I've been tempting fate by wearing my Newcastle hat around the place. Got accosted by a couple of drunken lads on Saturday night who I thought were about to start something, but it turns out they only wanted to drag us to a Cockney Rejects gig at a nearby basement scabhole. Foreigners...
  14. Quite nice here. Bit wet and miserable today though. Did I miss a football match on Saturday or something?
  15. Aye. All your fault. You be careful, I have some of her new album to send you. What an excellent time to be leaving the country for a week.
  16. Opening Credits: Blender - Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Waking Up: That "Rainbow" parody that goes "One skin, two skin..." etc. First Day At School: The Magnetic Fields - Sweet Lovin' Man Falling In Love: Xavier Naidoo - Sie sieht mich nicht (wrong gender, but otherwise strangely appropriate ) Losing Virginity: Nightwish - Sleepwalker Fight Song: Zeljko Joksimovic - Lane moje (possibly the most sedate song ever recorded ) Breaking Up: Gro Anita Schønn - Maxi-Midi-Mini Prom: KT Tunstall - Under The Weather Life: Hoobastank - The Reason Mental Breakdown: Anthrax - Madhouse Driving: Finn - Suffer Never Flashback: U2 - Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses Getting Back Together: Architecture In Helsinki - In Case We Die Wedding: Andreas Alexiou - Bim Bam Bom (a Euro-cheese parody from the 'Eurovision' stage show ) Birth of Child: The Hidden Cameras - Smells Like Happiness Final Battle: Number Nine - Where Have All The Good Times Gone Death Scene: Rod Stewart - Young Turks Funeral Song: Fiona Apple - The Child Is Gone This is going to be one fucked-up film.
