Euphemism tbh. beat me to it !! Shepherd's pie turned out nice, but I never got round to stabbing my rolling pin into some chocolate for a dose of hot brownie action.

Will be making shepherd's pie from scratch tonight, plus chocolate brownies for afters. This new year's resolution about cooking more stuff properly is proving surprisingly easy to keep. It's the one about the waistline that's suffering as a result...

I'd agree with that, I was thinking "what have I let myself in for?" in the first five minutes or so, but it quickly got more engaging.

Went to see this last night with the all-new(-ish) cast. It was a Christmas present for the fella, who's more the stereotypical ghey musicals buff, but I have to say I really enjoyed it too.
