Beth Gibbons always sounds terribly affected to me, as if she puts careful thought into how she's going to pronounce every single syllable. Still sounds damn good mind.

I'm meant to be flying Gatwick-Hamburg tomorrow morning so hopefully things'll clear up by then. Apparently they closed the Gatwick runway earlier but it's open again now. Flying in a snowstorm! Can't wait.

Sweet lord. He's a very good singer. Very samey but never the less there is no doubt he can sing. When he sings "Mistaaaaaa Writaaaaaaa" I want to stab him in the gullet. Why cause he's talented and your not? Hurrah, the "you're not allowed to be critical of anything you can't do yourself" argument. Always a crowd-pleaser.

No idea about his performance in Manhunter, but Brian Cox is... well, I was going to say a seriously underrated actor, but he seems to have been getting his just rewards in the media etc. over recent years. So let's just call him quite good.

It's weird, I listen to music all the time while I'm working but I generally can't get on with Internet radio. I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight though, so I'll give that one a blast at some point.

I had a thread on that a while ago. Very enjoyable show. Says it all when Radio 2's the station that provides DJs with a bit of room for diversity and spontaneity really.
