They'll probably replace him with 1/3 of what QPR will pay for Simpson, and say they're going to focus the cash on the striker... a striker they'll of course never get and ends up getting someone like Kuqi at the last minute.

I'm guessing this is will be the continuing story of this club. Some of our players do decent this first half season, the best performer goes in the January window for a decent cash-in, then every player who either deserves wage rise or asks for a prolonged contract goes next summer, gets replaced with new free agent shite and cheap maybe's who needs to prove their worth, the ones who do will of course get sold. If we don't succeed in surviving and goes down, it will be the perfect oppurtinity to sell all players who want to stay in the league, we'll get younger players up the ranks which eventually will turn good added with some more free-agents and maybe's. We'll do just enough to get back up and all of the next Andy Carrolls who did well and will do well in the PL get's sold for heavy prices to Liverpool, Man City, Tottenham etc. We'll never be anything but a feeder club under Ashley... and I guess he'll never sell Newcastle because it's too good a business for him to let go.
