AND centre-half...whats up with you guys who dont seem to understand people can master more than one position.

Alex doesn't have a huge wage, only 55K a week... that's the same as Ben Arfa's wage.

Will Pardew recall Tavernier? http://www.nufcblog.com/2011/12/04/james-tavernier-being-groomed-for-first-team/

So people settle for Kadar and Perch or?... I personally think we can benifit from using Guthrie now when he has started looking good, maybe we'll just go for one striker and put Tiote behind Guthrie and Cabaye as an extra safety for the fuck-up CB's.
-
Perch is puny , no good in the air, not even close getting ready to mark a strong opponent, sloppy tackles, indecisive, doesn't position well, and the list goes on... just warning you - he will fuck things up
-
So you're saying Perch got a skillset more suited for CB??? Perch doesn't even come with a skillset, so I don't think so..... we are only speaking about the next two games or so anyway. Tiote it or lose it...
-
Perch will not win us any more matches that's for damn sure...
-
He looks like a guy who can improve his skills with a ball to the Ronaldoesque and train to run even faster than he already is, but he'd still be a retard...
-
Tiote has the mindset of class defensive midfielder which is pretty similar to the mindset of a CB only with a less rigid style of playing, he's a good positioner, brave, determined, aggressive etc. Tell Tiote to play more rigid and you got yourself a CB.
-
There's no huge difference between a player like Vermaelen and Tiote. Vermaelen's probably a wee bit stronger in the tackles and headers but that's it, and Tiote can still do a way better job than Perch (which is btw 1 cm taller than Tiote lol).

hmmm...Santon is an offensive minded back, and I hope he finally gets a chance replacing an out-of-form Ryan Taylor against Norwich. Surely Kadar, which I understand is a pretty defensive minded player, is a better replacement than Santon as centre-half, even though he's a bit unproven. Tiote for Saylor, Kadar for Colo, Simpson/Raylor and Santon. http://www.tynetime.com/2011/12/04/tamas-kadar-has-a-huge-chance-to-revive-his-newcastle-united-career/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=tamas-kadar-has-a-huge-chance-to-revive-his-newcastle-united-career

It's on high time to give Kadar a number while Colo is out, and I can't see how a fresh Tiote would be a worse choice than Perch as centre-half... Let Guthrie and Cabaye team-up until January.

Somebody needs to tell Obertan that he's footballisticly retarded so he can start doing something about it. He needs to learn how to make a decision all by himself...

Ameobi's legs looks especially vanilla podesque today... he's gonna struggle in this match. -

Too little experience on the midfield right now with Guthrie, Gosling and Ameobi at the same time, it could be a dangerous gamble... I'd prefer Barfa to Ameobi in this situation -
Thank you for your Championship contribution but it's time to go McLoven.

Transfers ? Who would / wouldn't you sign ?
Aeris replied to south_cheshire_toon's topic in Newcastle Forum
Defensively we lack back-up everywhere, a centreback and a left-back at least should come in the beginning of January. Relatively unknown for you Englishmen, but since I'm Norwegian I would try to get Vegard Forren from Molde (the Norwegian PL champions this season managed by Solskjaer) who plays both lb and cb, and maybe J.Spector would be a nice addition. Jonas, Marvie, Obertan, Ben Arfa, and with Ba, Sammy, Guthrie and Gosling able to play wings aswell we seem excessively well covered there. In the centre Midfield we need a strong defensive backup for Tiote, seeing both Gosling and Guthrie fits more as cover-ups for an injured Cabaye, so someone like Leroy Fer or Cédric Mongongu and also the mentioned Spector. They who also would be good first team options should Tiote be sold by the end of the season. Alan Smith leaves by the end of his contract, thank god. In the forward area it seems to be Maiga coming in January anyway so probably no discussion there. Although we should seek a third striker with Euro Champ quality also next summer, seeing Leon Best and Shola probably won't be up for that task. I hope we'll sign some quality player on an ending contract, to save some cash. But I also see there's rumours we haven't given up Leverkusens quality striker Eren Derdioyk, and I agree Doumbia would be pure gold to have in this team. -
I love my team

Rob Elliot looks like a really lousy goalkeeper.

Sammyboy you are great!

God damn!...I screamed when it went into goal...

Long-shot demigod

Jonas is bad. Can't wait for Hatem to replace him.

Pull Marveaux out of your sleeve, Pardew. I can't stand watching that Obershit anymore.
