This. Aye he's not the best but he's better than R.Taylor imo if Jonas played on the right Simpson would look fairly solid. I'd prefer us to just keep him and pay him a little more than risk getting something worse. Not forget even if he's a wee bit shite compared to someone like Dani Alves and Sergio Ramos, he's still amongst the best English right-backs out there, and there are players below his level like Bardsley and Hibbert who probably earns more than him. Also I rather have Simpson than Raylor, and even Raylor gets more than him like.
