What I would like as formation for this game: Elliot Anita/Jonas Taylor Mbiwa Haidara/Santon Tiote Sissoko Marveaux Cabaye Ben-Arfa Cisse

nah...derpty derp...In my head I have always pictured Sissoko coming from deep, playing him that high up is a just waste of amazing physics...at least he should be playing down with Cab, when Marv is on.

He's more creative and technically precise as an attacking midfielder than Sissoko probably will ever be, but he just don't own anything which can match that physique or workrate. When playing against shit teams which isn't constantly attacking us like the team we played today, we could've easily swapped him with Tiote earlier on though, or started him and put Tiote on later.

I'd start him in a 4312, but in our 4231, being an impact game-changer in central midfield when the opponents are tired is probably what he's best suited for. he should be happy with coming off the bench and be that type of player...

from this day on, to me he's an AMC only, he always looks neat in that position but shit in other positions.

Sissoko has not many options when he's to deliver the ball, Cisse never there and Jonas and Gouffran are to wide and never able to carry the ball with them very far. We could do better with more narrow 4312, with two strikers Cisse & Ben-Arfa, Cisse & Gouffran, or even Gouffran & Ben-Arfa, using Marveaux to his strength behind them, and just forget about wingers...

Ben Arfa should take them when he's back.

Marveaux in as a playmaker is a good move. We don't need particularly defensive players in midfield anyway.

We are running through them like knives but Cisse don't appear interested to be the final outlet, and Gouffran has isnt the most clinical finisher.
