You are a good poster Gloomy, and I agree from a purely results based point of view it's difficult to argue with Pardew this season. It's our second campaign since returning to the top flight and we're sitting in seventh place just four points behind the top six. Despite such form I'd be lying if I said serious concerns hadn't begun to emerge during our recent run of games. We havent really played well since that cold night at britannia.

Honestly, they fielded one of the worst midfield combinations that Liverpool have put out in years and we didn't try and press them, harry them, try and actually pass the ball between them, we just let them have the ball and do what the hell they wanted with it and every time we got it, we panicked and kicked it long straight back to them.
