  1. Physically he is fit. He has not played games, hence he is not "match fit". Because pardew is not playing him. Maybe I should have echoed pardew and called it "not up to his best". That will only come with games. He needs to play. He has scored more and set up more assists in his 1 hour on the pitch this season, than Obertan has in 1700 minutes of play. Oh well. Didn't you hear him yelling at our players to 'hit Ba' and 'get it forward' against Liverpool, every time we were in possession. That was confirmation enough for me like, since Norwich the bloke has completely and utterly s*** his pants. It seems Steven Taylor was the key to us playing football? Interesting HBA mentions the club matching his ambitions, bye bye. He will be off in the january window or summer anyway. The Clairfountain philosophy of pass and move does not suit us at all.
  2. Funny you should say that. Wasnt Ferguson the come-through player of the year last season? Now he has disappeared from the face of the earth. Yeah, I think Shane ferguson on one side and Santon on the other could not possibly be worse than simpson/raylor. Fast lad, no fear and an appetite for going forward. Raylor is a makedo-solution that has gone sour. Simpson is worthless. Thing is, its pointless debating this. Pardew wont change his ways and will field the -4-2/4-5-1 we all have grown to love, so lets go with simpson/taylor then. Didnt you hear his yells vs liverpool ,telling them to hoof it and " hit ba" stewart robson called pardew a egotistical, self promoting, long ball route one football and no creativity in midfield and a con-man http://www.espn.co.u...genre=6;sport=3 go to 11:33 will a leopard change his spots?
  3. Clueless. Go buy yourself a Obertan shirt. It seems to fit you. in 3 weeks we will be 11th and on a slide.
  4. He is not suited to the long ball "bypass the midfield" hoofing that Pardew seems to love. Good luck in your next team hatem. God knows you wont need it, with that talent.
  5. He is not match fit, yet scores and sets up assists for fun. How many of our players could do that run vs city? He needs games man.
  6. IMO there's an obvious pattern here, irrespective of whether these players being dropped improved the team or not in the short term (in the long term it didn't). I.e. that shit managers who focus too much on the defense will drop a quality but unpredictable flair player because it's the easy thing to do, especially as soon as there's a slight dip in form. They aren't concerned with what these players bring to the team, only what they don't bring. Hence, that's what makes them s*** managers, unlike the good managers who'll take the risk (and the bad along with the good) because they have the balls and the courage as managers to do so. Pardew falls into the "shit" camp for me atm because he did the exact same thing with Tevez that he's seemingly doing with Ben Arfa. West Ham fans (much like ours) were regularly calling for Tevez to be played because Zamora/Harewood/Cole were all s*** and had them struggling badly. After Pardew was sacked for being a twat, Curbishley came in and did what the fans wanted, and whadayaknow? They immediately had one of the best playmaking forwards in the league playing for them, instead of the Championship standard stodge Pardew had put his faith in. If Pardew was smart enough he'd learn from that absolute and undeniable mistake, a mistake that would have had his team relegated and a world class star player wasting away for no reason on the bench (had he not been sacked), and apply it here with Ben Arfa. If he does, then good on him - if he doesn't then it'll only highlight why he had to resort to being a desperate, recently unemployed League One manager whoring himself in Casinos as a footballing fuck-buddy for footballing philistines like Ashley and Llambias.

  8. Anything below 9th and indifference is setting in.
  9. Alan likes direct play and crosses, with just about the worst wingers in the league for that sort of duty. Ah well, lets see how it pans out.
  10. Manchester united might well be the worst matchup possible for us. They are all about their wingers, so we are we - except our wingers and fullbacks ( fielded anyway) happen to be wank. Ah well, red carpet rolled out for the harlem globetrotters - "Big game Alan" going for a point at home.
  11. Yeah Tom you would need to wine&dine her for a bit in order to get her to reply to your forum posts yet again.
  12. 4 AM New years eve - you`d do him.
  13. Nah, swedes are the dullest people in the world. Starting both in front of Santon? Alright then, Alan.
  14. I understand the fact that manchester united äre the reigning champions, we dont need 5 people stating it on every page ffs You make it out as if we lose 10-0 if we - god forbid - come out with guns blazing in an offensive formation. Lets just park the bus then, and disregard the fact that they just got beaten by the worst team in the league - at Old trafford. Keegan days are over - I get that. Still. Fucking dream a little.
  15. He has a good track record for a start, unlike Pardew. Also he isnt thick as thieves with dekka and mike, and likely to demand things from the board. Which is why he would never be hired.
  16. Looks good, however we all know the drill... Simmo colo willo raylor obertan tiote cabaye jonas Best Ba 0-3..
  17. So how do you want us to play then? 4-3-3 perhaps. Try something new at least, our current 4-4-2 have been found out and with 2 poor wingers we need to dare to try new things. And let our less than great full backs take care of the wings by themselves? That would be beggin' for problems. Santon.
  18. Lets say could. We dont know. At the moment Im happy with any formation which leaves obertan out of the team, I have that little faith in him. His only trait ( pace ) is wasted due to the fact that he always seems to cut in...
  19. So how do you want us to play then? 4-3-3 perhaps. Try something new at least, our current 4-4-2 have been found out and with 2 poor wingers we need to dare to try new things.
  20. Still leaving us with obertan as the only right-winger? Removing a striker and going with 3 CMs doesnt adress that.
  21. The question we should be asking is why we are dead-set on the 4-4-2 when obertan is our only right-wing option.
