Next three games are pivotal ( duh) - get 1 draw and 2 wins from it minimum and the last 3 will basically decide CL.

How many points will we finish the season with?
Lake Bells tits replied to Baggio's topic in Newcastle Forum
We either win or lose it seems, so 9 points is my guesstimate. 68 Points then. Wont be enough for 4th, will be enough for 5th. -
get it done meight!

And porsches from the 80s are not classic cars because?....
-
Not worried about crouch with williamson and colo back there. They are both better than him in the air.
-
If I were you, I would locate a 928 with a FSH. Manual preferrably. Buy on condition. These cars do 160-170 mph and you could cruise at that speed all day with ur missus sleeping next to you. Made to eat continents. Check that all the electrics work, look for a recent cambelt-change ( + waterpump), and the syncrorings in the gearbox also need changing occationally.
-
J69, you need to decide what you want. 928 is a large GT-cruiser with V8 grunt. Boxster is an immensely impractical 2-seater sportscar. Go drive both and see what you prefer. But keep in mind its like a woman, something that is fun farting around the forecourt with might not suit you in the long run. If you want something not losing money, buy a 911 from the 80s. Values are rock solid. THAT being said. Nothing from the 80s is shit-off-shovel fast today, but it depends where you are coming from. 928S cars are faster than 99% of the cars on the road though..

Way too good to be playing for sunderland. Id take him in a flash if he could play on the left. Jonas to spain for 8 mill, jejejeje
-
They are right about Sess though, he is a fantastic player. I hope they enjoy him the last 5 games of his career there
-
He has always been a run of games away from being unplayable, thats the crux of the matter for me. Some people seem to operate with a double set of standards along with a tendency to use his performances to back up pardew regardless. Plays shit: This is why he cant get games plays well: Right of pardew to ease him in, now we see the real HBA. Coming back from an injury and being out of shape / not match-fit, there is only one remedy: and it aint the bench. Nani was dogshite for the first season or two but Ferguson prevailed because he saw something in the boy. Ben Arfa is of the same ilk and players like ryan taylor and ubershite should never have kept him out. Its been a great season so far, but he should have been playing week in and week out from october/november on, and nothing will change my view on that matter.

By journos and ITK`s, as well as never being denied by the club and contract talk with the sole aim of getting rid of the clause have been going on for a while. Didnt pardew come out recently asking for the fans help to get him to sign?
-
Do you share a stronger bond with John Terry, Lampard and Barry/milner rather than the lovely Cabaye/HBA duo MT. I would think you of all people understood that sentiment
-
KSA, the release clause is there. Its been confirmed numerous times. Whether its 5 mill or 7 mill we dont know, but its low enough that its basically a nobrainer as long as you get over his booby-trapped knee.
-
why? Because I constantly want us to improve instead of thinking everything is perfect? I see potential improvement in several areas of our game, just calling it as I see it. I dont enjoy it any less, I just have this idea of how I would like us to play ( and what I think would be most successful)
-
Yes but I am not saying I would rather have a win and a draw rather than two 1-0 wins. Ill take any win all day, I am just advocating my view that long-term, keeping posession and dominating play has a tendency to be the recipe most top teams seem to adapt. I struggle to think of a team who has had long-term success ( read: more than one season) by countering other teams... eventually you get found out.
-
So that's 2 games we've not controlled but have got wins. We've controlled plenty of games prior to them though. . This I disagree with. we have alot of positives to build on from this season, but controlling matches is not one of them. Getting alot of matches were things looked bleak, that on the other hand... often due to individual brilliance.
-
If its one worry I have had this season it is that we are unable to comfortably control a game for 90 minutes. After the hoofing stopped it has gotten better, but we are still a bit off. Laying low vs swansea is acceptable to an extent, but we need to develop our own dominating way of playing matches, we cant rely on catching every team on the break. Defensively we are sound even with a weak defense, but the link-up and build-up leaves alot to be desired. There are massive improvements to be had in that area, which is encouraging when you think about the fact that we are 5th already. Managers will always polarize opinion, I dont think pardew is the perfect fit for us long-term, but all things into consideration he is perhaps the best we can hope for.
-
but massive credit to Pardew who has apparently done what 3 or 4 french speaking coaches couldnt do before him. Good read that chez, Ben Arfa might have been in another mindset during those years in france than where he is now though. He seems more grown up in general, so Pards have perhaps had it easier than the coaches before him.

You have a tendency to spout some shit, but this is on the money though the word 'think' would need to be replaced with something more concrete. Whatever happens from here it has been an amazing season. Was a poorly chosen word, granted - sometimes my vocabulary let me down a bit. We shouldnt get too excited more like. Its a mesmerizing thought but we should all relate to it with a bit of distance.
-
Its just an opinion, no need to get worked up over it. Views differ, also on forums, you dont have to convert me.
-
Its just my opinion, we are not that good at build-up play, today the game had 0-0 or worse written all over it until Hatem Ben Messi decided enough was enough. Swansea we had what, 20% posession. We rely too much on individual brilliance and need better build-up play. By scraping wins I mean not controlling the game at all, I dont mind it - dont get me wrong. But in a longer perspective we need to work on this too. And its a bit lacking.

Was in a courtesy car 928 SII the other week. Such a long nose and definitely not quick but still fast - slow to rev but felt like it built speed exponentially. Overall though not fun to drive because of the size and weight of it. Auto? They are not quick off the line ( well they are but thats not what they are about), quick once they get going though. Its a car you dont "get" until you gel with it, its more of a GT-car. Very competetent but for a "laugh" I can think of better cars sure. Still more agile than wet waffles J69 set out to buy though, wafty american frame-on-body cars

Im not calling for his head, we are doing great - but its largely down to the players. I think with a more offensive-minded coach we would be dominating to a much larger degree instead of scraping wins left and right. Dont get me wrong, scrapey 3-points is something Ill take all day long, but its very much due to individual brilliance. I wont take anything away from pardew. Top Job. But I think with a proper coach we could properly ravage like. We have brilliant players!
