They have been grinding on about sovereign states all year, so im taking a laidback stance to see what they actually DO, instead of what they say and think. Actions speak louder than words. If they are serious about a push for top-5 next year too, they wont sell off our best players. Hopefully. I can accept one player sale though, to get 20+ mill in. -

Bit cautious going into the summer, depending on whether mike choose to keep our best players or if he sees bags of money running around on the pitch -

One thing is clear: you cant sell your spine every summer. We did this with barton nolan and carroll, and it turned out well. Im not sure it will if we shift tiote, cabaye and Colo .... -

Im not sure how thats relevant ( though you are probably right about me not being popular), all Im saying is that its refreshing with some varied angles as to how us fans percieve the running of the club. These days you get credit for saying everything is fucking mint, while you get slagged off for being a bit more cautious. Im not fully onboard the ashley project yet, I want to see how the summer pans out first and if he intends to build on this season or cash out. In reference to LM, this is understatement of the millenia True, but I fail to see how this makes him a cretinous little shit who should die of aids. He is a sceptical middle-aged man who is very negative to ashley, there are probably many like him out there -

Just got home from god knows where, went out yesterday and appearently hooked up with a very mediocre-looking medical secretary. Woke up, wiped my dick on her curtains and legged it. Onto more pressing subjects - kebab or fish`n`chips? -

There should be room for different views on here, even if you dont agree with them. I dont agree with everything Leazes say, but he does have a few interesting points, some of which I share. It would be a duller place if most discussions were mostly "aye +1" and "spot on". A bit of disagreement is only a good thing. -

I think what Flair is trying to say is that while our transfer policy is excellent, sometimes you need to shell out that extra million or pay what player is worth in order to get him over the line. Investing in young players with resale value on the "cheap" is fine and all that, but sometimes you need players with routine and experience who are already at their peak level, in order to do a job. You could say that about Cissè, but he is the exception to the rule. We needed a CB in january but couldnt find a big enough bargain. Wenger bought a 30 year old midfielder from everton for 10 million, hardly one for the future was he, but he filled a position and they are now steadily on cource for 3rd even after losing clichy, nasri and fabregas without properly replacing any of them... In short: Buy cheap when you can, but be prepared to occationally pay the going price when its required. Im not sure our regime is fully onboard with the latter one... -

Reminds me of that scene in EUROTRIP where they have to dodge a bucket of dirty dishwater being thrown out of a condo into the street -

First qualification match Dinamo Pripyat away, near the charming town of Tchernobyl. Dont mind the louting wolves -
Yeah she lost that case, which wasnt surprising since a win would have opened the floodgates for everyone with similar experiences down there. Poor girl. Funny how we have all laughed off that old womans coffee-lawsuit, when in reality they were serving lava-temperatured coffee in shite cups to people driving. Those leg burns, jesus christ. All she sued for was to cover her medical bills. Baffeling that people actually vote to limit their rights vs the big companies. Its the only thing keeping them in check and preventing them from cutting corners EVERYWHERE.

If you fancy a big dripping burger right now you cant be that ill. When Ive been on my worst vomit-trips all I wanted was coke and a few fries..

How keen are you on an extra large kebab atm?

Kitman offered the opinion that he is not a top-6 defender. I have my own opinion of S.Taylor, I am asking for others view on him regarding this matter. You said if I had watched him play I wouldnt need to ask. Since you side with Kitman in entertaining the notion that he is not top-6 quality, are you therefore saying that if I had seen him play, I would have concluded that he was not good enough? You are taking things way too litterarily, I was inviting a discussion on Steven Taylors level and how it fits with our development a quality side, not asking whether he could play fotball. You seem like an intelligent bloke so Im not sure why you are looking for a fight where there isnt one.

Agree kitman

Anyone seen Hot Coffee yet? That hearing in the justice comitee regarding the Halliburton employment "issue" - when the chairman grills the representative for US chamber of commerce - moving stuff. Poor girl. ( its towards the end of the documentary) The last 10 minutes of that documentary really had me sit down and reflect on what I had just seen. Very few films have done that for me. -
Paul, here is a fact for you: He is not the one signing players
-
I would of thought being a Newcastle fan you wouldn't need to ask how good he is. Or are you a Ben Arfa fan that follows Newcastle because he's here? Kitman offered the view that steven taylor was not good enough for a top-level team - is he not a fan then? Very peculiar way of trying to slate fellow fans...
-
Simpson yes, but isnt a injury-free steven taylor actually a very good defender? I do agree that he is far too injury-prone to be relied on, but in the actual case he would be fit for a full season - at which level would you guys rate him?
