  1. a 1000 years ago, viking law stated that the punishment for homosexuality was death. However it was only the one recieving who commited the crime and thus got convicted. The penetrator went free Makes sense tbh, I can totally see where the contemporary legislators were coming from.
  2. Cant be that bad, Chelsea heading into the CL final and Man Utd grabbing the trophy Not bad for a bunch of pensioners. On a serious note, Ferguson always had a talent for mixing and blooding youngsters while also fielding experienced players and the odd 30`s something here and there for a balanced and fluid transition over the years. Something like that I had in mind.
  3. If I was to buy a bike J69, Id buy a Ducato 900SS from like 1992-1993. I love that design, proper early nineties boxy coat...Cheap as chips too, get an exhaust and you are sorted. Ducati = the Ferrari of bikes. Red and lush
  4. Ashley would no doubt sell ben arfa for 30 mill and gamble on a replacement for 3. Hes a gambler at heart. Another aspect I feel we are missing out on is mixing up young talents with more established players in their prime. We have a few but they are remnicents from old rather than intended veterans. There is a saying "you cant win titles with kids", a good side has a mixture of young and hungry players, a few 30-something year olds and a few in their mid/late 20s who know what its all about. They wouldnt be brought in for resale value but to balance the side, I cant see us doing that at the moment.
  5. Id be getting blowjobs from my Man Utd mates all summer if we were to wipe the floor with city at home. Maybe they would sell us a few more obertans on the cheap
  6. Dunno about bargains... he often pays top dollar but many of them pay him back with good performances...I can imagine its pretty hard to get "great deals" when you are man utd and come knocking. Everyone know you are loaded and the price soars, 10 million is suddenly the minimum because if Fergie wants him, hes world class
  7. We were linked with Jerson Cabral in todays press, supposedly we are leading the race to sign him along with tottenham. I dont see how a youtube video of him in that context is irrelevant. You dont have to watch it you know.
  8. If we are to play the what if game, you know what you have - but not what you are going to get. Mike is a wanker, but right now his model is getting us places for peanuts compared to what others are spending to try to break into the top-4. There is a certain smug satisfaction in that... The thing is we dont know what kind of owner he is until the summer window closes. Will he sell off half the team or build on it? Hero or zero, time will tell.
  9. Hard to tell whats worse, city coming here with the pressure on them or nothing to play for. I dont think its as clear cut as you make out. Chelsea on their ass out of the CL tomorrow wont be a good thing either, they will have a much stronger incentive to focus on the league in that case. On the other hand meeting them on the back of knocking barcelona out of the CL isnt necessarily the best timing either, their confidence must be soaring. Easy to start over-analysing everything like a bunch of girls dicussing text messages from lads. We should just focus on our own form and get on with it. We can only beat what is in front of us and that is what we should do.
  10. Its not debatable, it will never work, will make fuck all difference. The big clubs will find a way around it and UEFA wont have the resources nor an incentive/will to go chasing them. What are they going to do, ban barcelona and real madrid from the champions league? Aye, that will be a massive success like. Ironically the only ones suffering will be smaller clubs who shit in their bed or do something stupid. The only solution would be a cap on wages and that will never happen.
  11. Season 2011/2012 NUFC review song that. Nice knockers on the blondie too.
  12. Lets hope they dont. I fancy Chelsea to grab 4th, us fifth, Tottenham sixth. I see us getting another 4 points, 1 win 1 draw 2 losses. 66 points.
  13. Tottenham couldnt buy a win at the moment, so I dont see how you cant see them slip up.
  14. Another favorite of mine, Younes Belhanda. Looks absolutely immense, could be the next David Silva. Where do we play him though? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah9AHU1EQno
  15. Scandinavian Airline Systems, like Lufthansa. Not the special forces
  16. Linked with Jerson Cabral, U21 Feyenoord Winger. Looks insane on the tube, (like most players, granted. so did Obertan )- but his technique is something else. Looks a right nightmare for any fullback to deal with.
  17. Decent, Im not onboard with the sentiment of singing Perch and Simpson praises though. They have performed above expectation and done a job, but if we had 11 perches or 11 simpsons on the pitch we would have been relegated by christmas. How someone even go as far as nomination the likes of simpson/perch/raylor as "players of the season" baffles me. The spine and engine room will always be the big players, Krul/Colo/Ba/cisse/Tiote and Cabaye, hoy ben arfa in there the last 10-15 games as well
  18. As grafty as Wigan seem, I just cannot see them beat us on our current form. No way. Comfortable 2-0 win for me.
  19. Yer, Group stages really is the target, get there and you have 6 CL games on the trot. Fantastic regardless of outcome. Thing is though, if we do get there - I doubt players like ben Arfa, tiote and Cabaye will be starstruck by being in the CL. Old news to them Could really see things starting to roll downhill from there. Danny Simpson would fucking tear Ronaldo a new one on the right flank
  20. Its an understandable approach I guess but its not an admirable one. That being said sacrificing EL for a CL finish, that would be something I could sympathize with. But EL for 10th? or 13th?
  21. No problem, we will FINALLY bring Champions league fotball to the stadium of Light
