  1. Thats like saying why would you run for president in the United States of America, things are not going well these days! Managing england has to be the fotballing equivalent of that, and it instantly makes you just about the biggest fish in the pond. Its a massive ego-trip like, rationally Pardew should stay here given the circumstances, but rewind 1.5 years and he was sacked from a league one club. Is he going to turn down the england job if it came his way?
  2. He could be onto something here, it could also go tits up within a year or two ( which - lets be fair - it has in all his previous clubs) England job means he is set for life. It might not be Capello-level salary, but its still gonna be like 10 times what he currently makes. Offer that to just about any individual on the planet and they will snap your cock off. Of cource he is gonna say he is not interested, if he did and he didnt get offered the job he would look like a total mug. Contract offer at the desk and its something else entirely, Im quite sure.
  3. If they actually offered him the job, he would take it. You dont turn down the england job, nee chance like.
  4. a year as england coach and ur set for life though, financially...dont underestimate that in terms of how easy/hard it would be to reject an offer..
  5. How do people think this shit up let alone try and pass a law to allow it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2135434/Ou... most people wish their loved ones goodbye when they die, in egypt the husband is allowed one last leg over if she is warm enough. Ah well, time to look into Y-shaped coffins..
  6. If this is the case then I`ll be very unhappy as well tbh. Steven Taylor has proven time and time again he is too injury-prone to be a bonafide first choice, and if Simpson is still first choice then I can see another season of "protecting the right back". I think we will upgrade on simpson in summer and get another CB in
  7. Our sudden spur of form coincided with the introduction of HBA to the side. We have seen it earlier during cameos, we instantly start to play it more on the ground. I think its because of the confidence generated by having the best player in the team coming on and everyone knowing he wants it at his feet. So I hope HBA stays
  8. I only think we will lose 1 + possibly Ba. With his dip in form and outrageous wage demands I can see the regime getting on its hind legs.
  9. about as credible as an italian pocket thief there Leazes
  10. Eating your socks in regards to what you have been saying for years is difficult for anyone, I fully understand why this was done in private to the posters Leazesmag feel will understand him the most. Gemill and Manc-Mag have sort of operated as Leazesmags mentors here for a while now, and as such it was only natural... Hat doffed to everyone involved
  11. If we are offered money that the board feels is more than the player is worth and they see him as replacable, he will be sold. We will keep looking for young players for a reasonable fee, especially on the free or with contract clauses. I think the board will adress our back-four issue. Simpson and Williamson are not good enough and I think the board recognizes that this is our achilles heel.
  12. Already 9 pages on Pep Guardiola on a norwegian liverpool forum. They genuinly think he is going there.
  13. The level of maturity displayed by Gemill and Manc Mag by respectfully choosing not to post the numerous grovelling messages from leazesmag are truly admireable. Full credit to you two.
  14. The art of trolling... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=12449054&postcount=79
  15. Last I heard he was on 40-45k, but there is also a release clause in there. Read somewhere that we are trying to offer him a new contract of 50k + some sign on bonuses which would equal 60-70k.. I hope he starts scoring a few soon because thats top money.
  16. Cooling to pieters myself... seems to get injured all the time and dutch fans are calling him the Danny Simpson of the national team/club team...
  17. Probably. But we dont even want players who arent dying to come here anyway. Another half-arsed mercenary on Kenny`s books at 90 grand a week? enjoy.
  18. Aye people in the 60s had a very different body to today, more manual labour and a more active day-to-day life. And not as many packets of crisp!
  19. Id like to think Leazes eventually will come around and to terms with what the current NUFC regime is trying to build. It might not be the Manchester United leazes imagine it will be, but things are looking up.
