  1. Get off my back Cat!! Always with the dig!
  2. How do you see the top 6 panning out? and why? Harvz: City, Chelsea,Manure,Arsenal,Newcastle,Sp*rs/L*verpool. Just a feeling. GJH: Assuming Di Matteo and the club have more of a focus on doing well in the league this season. Manchester,Arsenal/Chelsea,Newcastle,Liverpool/Spurs, Although I fully expect that prediction to be wrong, Villas-Boas is the most significant change here imo. He talks as if he has learned very little and continues to favour one whole half of football at the expense of the other. Chedaki: Man C, Chelsea,Man Utd,Arse,Newcastle,Spurs. Pretty self-explanatory, The usual suspects up the top. And no matter what happens, Arsenal are always close come the end of the season. Cant stop drooling at the fact that chelsea fans regard us as "nailed on top 6- selfexplanatory really". Also Liverpool not being mentioned by the last guy
  3. What I think is similar about them even though Messi is obviously way more consistent, is the fact that they both have GREAT end product. What sets them apart from similar attacking midfielders/fake 9`s. Ben Arfa just needs a full season with an arm around his shoulder though. To me, Ben arfa is a 15 goal/20 assists player if he gets a full season for us. He is that good. Unfortunately should this happen people will be throwing money at us, City would probably offer 30 mill at which point he would be off.
  4. Unfortunately I think he will come good for them. Always the outside chance of the Liverpool curse affecting him too though.
  5. Leon Best would get 10 goals if he was a starting spearhead for Arsenal ffs
  6. Remember he went on alot of clever runs during the Euros. Not a single fecking pass, france was ribery nasri and benzema playing 3-a-side refusing to pass to anyone else. Nuri sahin signed, 5 million euro fee for a 1-year loan without a buyout clause... plus wages. Going to cost them 10 million Euros all in probably and he will fuck off after the season. For their sake I hope he delivers because that is one expensive loan
  7. Been reading up on a few fan forums you see, and not many of even his own fans seem to rate him. Curious if anyone on here has actually seen him play.
  8. If his ideal position is right, he wouldnt be a starter for us. HBA is miles better. Im biased but I genuinly believe Hatem could start for any side in the world. Out of the 1987 generation, Nasri Ben Arfa and Benzema were the golden boys - and HBA was considered the biggest talent. I have no idea how we got this lad.
  9. Agree with that Baggio, but Arsenal have also been shopping a bit. Podolski, Cazorla, Giroud etc.. Remains to be seen how it all pans out but they squad looks better in broad terms this year even though they lost their spearhead. Arsenal started off incredibly bad last season ( werent they like 15 points behind us after 10 rounds or something). Still finished on 70 points. Im a bit disappointed we are still relying on williamson and simpson. Spending 10 million would rectifiy those issues.
  10. Not losing anyone is alright but finishing 5th and not building on such a season at all in terms of getting bodies in is an opportunity missed. We are not a 13th placed side anymore and shouldnt be content with "losing noone". Wigan we are not
  11. Still have people here who thinks he "did well" whenever he manage to string a few 10 yard passes together.
  12. Bad education. Not that good but a few funny moments. "No moms over 40, unless they are proper fit"
  13. WIth the amount of talent chelsea is piling on they are basically doing a City. Our hope lies with arsenal and tottenham underperforming. Arsenal unfortunately have signed alot of good players as well. Cant really see either Arsenal or Chelsea getting less than 70 points this season...
  14. If only there was a term for sentencing according to the family of the victims wishes.. Oh wait, there is. Its called Lynching. Very popular in the middle east and africa
  15. Would increase chances though. Anything is possible but in this day and age genuinely good players are starting to demand top wages.
  16. Yes but the punishment lies in the incarceration itself. Shitty serving conditions just adds insult to injury and serves no purpose other than eye-for-an-eye arguements that does nothing but alienate the inmates and further reduce the chance of them ever becoming lawful citizens. Seeing the error of their ways is no easier if you are being treated like shit instead of being assessed and helped. They just end up hating everyone ( including themselves)
  17. squeeze it between one of the police movie donut and coffee questions you mean?
  18. bit of a chicken/egg arguement though. Getting to CL with players like simpson and Williamson on the pitch is going to be a tall order this season.
  19. Because I was blocking the line Wolfy. I helped myself to triple servings that day.
  20. You dont punish Breivik by killing him. You are just punishing his family and relatives even further. A surprising number of parents have actually stated they dont want him dead, just removed from society. Which is excactly what has been done. What is critical is to adress the really important issue which is WHY this has happened, so that we can prevent it from happening again. People like breivik needs to be met with an open dialogue and an exchange of facts ( much like our failed 50th crusade in the middle east).
  21. Rehabilitation can mean many things, including coming to terms with your crimes. Noone is advocating rehabilitating Breivik they way you think McFaul. It was argued on a general basis.
