There are better midfielders than cabaye available for the prices quoted. He is a good player but a bit hyped if you ask me. Dont get me wrong he is a 10-12 million pound CM, just not a 20-25 one. The important thing though is that if we were to sell him I doubt we would replace him adequately.

Its not the formation per se, its the movement. For some reason our movement is dogshit whenever we play 4-4-2. Cause and effect we could argue about all day long but its a simple matter observing us whenever we play that formation.

Its a completely different system which will allow them to pass to players who do. Our movement is poor and Ben arfa lacks Options. He only has Ba and Cisse to pass to and they are marked out because noone else is joining in. Anita and Cabaye were always going to be overran in a 4-4-2 I knew that the moment I saw the lineup

We are playing with 9 men effectively and with simpson and jonas there is no threat on the flanks to speak of. Ben Arfa is also deployed too deep. He needs to be further up and in the middle to dictate play.

4-4-2 is shit, because our strikers are not present nor good enough at build-up play. They are both clinical finishers and invisible in a 4-4-2. Also way too passive performance, we are giving them far too much respect. You cant let a team this talented pass it around like that. Bound to go tits up. Should have gone 4-3-3 with Marveaux-Cisse-Ben arfa in a front 3 imo.. would give us way more penetration. Also, Simpson sort your life out. Im not even gonna bother.
