  1. You are setting the premise for Mancini to take into consideration the fact that Tevez is unhappy. Its completely irrelevant. He fields what he at the time feel is the strongest squad. Luckily this year he could field a very strong starting 11 without tevez, instead of being held to ransom by some greedy cunt. Honestly, boils my piss even as a inpartial viewer when I read about the tevez-saga, imagine how it must be like for Mancini. He must hate his guts... I would.
  2. Noone has written him off. And if he had a good run with us prior to the injury, it would have been different. Messi has afterall shown a decent form prior to any injury he might suffer..
  3. Tevez will fit right in here... get in son!
  4. Its Ashleys way and he could not give two fucks what you think! MAVERICK!
  5. No he is just calling is as he see it. He IS shit now, no way around it. Rather than seeing it as a "recovery" period, you can also just regard it as his current level of play now. Depends to which degree you excuse his performance due to his injury ( which is a fairy reasonable excuse after all) I agree with Gloom, he is shit now. But he may improve. Or he may not. Fuck knows.
  6. If we win away against Wolves, would you say we are relegation-proof? Retarded question I guess, just thinking out loud here
  7. Fully agree Gloomy. He might of been hyped a bit imo, but then again hes been out for an awfully long time. I guess only - again - time will tell if he steps up - otherwise I see him as a Guthrie v1.1 tbh..
  8. Wonder what he was looking at when he went through her resumè... - First class fanny...
  9. No, the usage is correct but the context in my opinion isn't. Norwich are a decent side, Sunderland have been really poor, and Norwich deserved to win by quite some distance. I thought they looked poor even if sunderland did as well
  10. perhaps not an english verb.. "someone getting robbed" like - nick 3 points off then. nitpicking..
  11. Watching the game yesterday I was relieved to see that there are far worse teams than us in the league, Norwich being one of them. Then I thought " imagine if they could rob sunderland here" and hey that happened too. Fantastic night
  12. He looks about as interested as having waited 5 minutes for a butterfly chicken breast at Nandos though, so I dont really pity him for finding himself in the back of the queue yet again.
  13. if he works on his shots and finishing he could be a 16-17 goal a season striker given enough starts. There, I said it. He has gotten THAT much better.
  14. they wont lose at home. might draw though.
  15. Shhh... Oztoon can hear you sniffer meight. He thought Obertan was FANTASTIC. What a load of drivel. He went from A.I.D.S-riddenly horrible to "decent", and all of a sudden he is a protected species because we happened to win that day as well. Rather we try someone else soon..
  16. Despite being slower Jonas seems to better at going past players though...
  17. People comparing Obertan and Jonas seem to forget that Jonas puts in a good shift defensively as well. Obertan just walks back Strolla-style. Unless you are Ronaldo, thats quite annoying. In fact, considering what Obertan has shown - it boils my piss. Im less inclined to have a go at players who work their asses off. Obertan doesnt. As Sniffer so eloquently put it, he couldnt have gotten much worse - so being better yesterday far from impresses me.
  18. actually think it would be an advantage if Villa took this. QPR look far better and will nick more points this season, might as well robbed a few points against Villa, which I think will finish safely below us.
  19. I think the fact that you are happy with the performance he gave says more about what your expectations are for a first-choice winger. No need to fling poo about others posters disagreeing with your view.
  20. The sad fact is that while Carr may be able to uncover midfield gems, striker-wise I think its hard to do the same. Good strikers smash em in and is instantly on everybodys radar, regardless of scouting. Then the price rockets. I think when it comes to strikers you may have to pay what the player is worth, and I cant see mike doing that.
  21. I dont think we have a hard-cap on a single spending like. I can easily see Mike Ashley spunk say 15 million for a player who would normally be worth 25. Its all about getting the good deal for him, regardless of how much that deal is ( within reasonable limits ofc). Stupid example but lets say Real Madrid kicks Higuain out for say 16-17 millioner to make room for 60-million euro Neymar. Could easily see Mike buy him, if he does well in Premier league he could be sold on for 30 mill+.
