January Transfer window 2012- Deadline Day Madness
Lake Bells tits replied to Lake Bells tits's topic in Newcastle Forum
He is still fooking fast though. Dreading the january games, god help us when Ba leaves for the ACN. Who the fuck do we have up front? Best isnt even a good championship player, and Shola - well he could be Messi or Emile Heskey with a limp. -
If you start connecting the different statements from pardew together, it seems quite obvious that he is not really the kind of player Pardew fancies. "individualist, luxury player, "talisman", not quite 100% yet, cameon-player " etc. How do you get up to speed from the bench, he needs games. Im getting more and more worried that ben arfa sitting on the bench and pardew not being supportive enough could have other managers with eyes knocking on the door sooner rather than later, with all parties including HBA willing to move on. A few million being made available to pardew following the sale so that he can get yet another "workhorse" in the ridgewell mould in who offers fuck all creativity-wise. Im quite sure that HBA in another club with a manager backing him would make Rossi`s spain spell look like " a few good games". He might not be Lionel Messi, but he is as close as we can possibly hope for on tyne.

It's not drivel. He's explaining (as if it needs to be said) why it's so hard to buy players in January. Their replacement is of our concern and is our problem because if they can't find one then they probably won't want to sell. They will if the price is right. Which it wont be, because we are offering peanuts. When you do that, most club rest on their hind legs, and it gets hard. We dont want to hear how they "tried". Either you see a player in, or you dont. Doesnt need an explanation, especially not after 10 transfer windows in a row where we have ended up with a net profit. To quote Yoda from star wars: Do, or do not. There is no try. -

No. Ba is for the record a way better striker than Carroll, but the caroll replacement was promised to be of "hallowed #9" caliber and a marque signing. Which Ba of cource has turned out to be, but was never intended. That being said, Ba being such a success I think they may get away with signing sweet fuck all. -

Load of drivel from pardew about other clubs having to get replacements etc. Thats not our problem. You give them an offer, if the offer is deemed satisfactory then the replacement is none of our concern. -

Every transfer window is difficult for us because we dont want to pay the going rate. When you demand a 50% discount you will perhaps get 3 out of 50 players. -
Regarding your ben arfa prediction - Is it possible to score from the bench? Because Obertan and him are not even in the same queue. Obertan is trodding on a red velvet carpet and entering through a VIP backdoor entrance, while Ben arfa is sleeping outside tescos in a sleeping bag Pardew threw out from the third floor through a window.

Simpson Perch Colo Raylor Obertan Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ba Best Obertan would have to blow up a shopping mall in order to get dropped He starts. Another 15 runs to the corner flag and back it is then.
-
Hopefully FA fines the living daylights out of Liverpool for their tasteless Justice-campaigns... does a 15 point deduction fancy kind sir?

Aeris is a tongue-in-cheek poster Tecato, where is your sense of humor!

What is the point of having loads of players willing and able to work defensively, if we have noone to retain and distribute the ball? Its like rolling something uphill.. Team of headless chickens.
-
This defending from the front bollocks has to end, play talented players and give them a run.
-
Fucking hell, that has to be the most offensive thing I have ever read, its so inapropriate its bordering on funny. Hope the cunt gets convicted, what a thing to add to your resume. Zero chance of ever getting a job.

I dont care if he is smoking cigarettes behind the ball-shed during training or shags gabby obertans big-titted girlfriend in his car during lunch breaks. He starts. In a team where other firstteamers include squidward, Leon championship at Best and Danny longballs simpson, he fucking starts. -

On a serious note, lack of depth following injuries is one big factor in terms of squad strength - everyone struggles with injuries but when you have bonafide poo on the bench it can transform a delicate side such as ours. Our first elleven is genuine top-7 material but for every injury you can safely push us a few places down the table in terms of how good we are. -

Mostly deer, seeing as I have a dachshound. But I also hunt moose, raindeer, bear, birds.. pretty much anything served with brown sauce and potatoes Hoping to try out Wild boar driven hunt as soon as circumstances allow. -

On the plus side... Pardew is - how do I put this delicately - conservative when it comes to changes in his starting XI. Lets be honest here,he was never going to drop Obertan or alter the squad significantly as long as we kept picking up points, nearly regardless how "some" players performed out there. I was - and is - a critic of our 4-4-2 system with the wingers we currently have. If the outcome of this dip in form is that we change our tactics a bit, best and obertan gets dropped and ben arfa given a chance, I am hopeful something good can come out of this. -

You are making excuses where there are none to be given. West brom are also struggling with injuries, and at home at st.james - conceding 3 goals against them is not acceptable. There is a subtle difference between looking like relegation candidates, and being one of them. I can agree with the former, but laugh of the latter. -

We wont go down obviously. But the way we are picking up points now, and if we keep playing perch, obertan and best - I cant see us doing much better than 10th. Imo we need to step away from the massively flawed 4-4-2 formation Pardew seems intent on playing. Teams are starting to figure us out and it shows. -
