Going to be way more difficult than getting rid of a manager, there aren't going to be too many people floating about with the ability and desire to spend £300m+ (or whatever it is) on a North East club, even if the campaign does somehow make him want to sell. And he won't just sell himself short and accept a small offer, no matter the amount of fan pressure imo. But it's good to see people actively doing something, trying to cause a change however unlikely, so congratulations and good luck to them.

Don't get the obsession with win%, it's always, always the go to stat when points-per-game makes a lot more sense to account for how many draws/losses your getting. 6 points from 6 games atm, 38 points over a season obviously. So still shit mind

If he gets 1.1 points per game until summer, enough for the low 40's over a season, he's got a decent shot at getting the job imo. There's a lot of PR coming out of the club at the moment that's really trying to emphasise how much of a geordie he is and how much he's loving the challenge, trying to get people onside. Could just be to make sure there's no heavy backlash until we're safe though I guess. But Ashley loves a promotion from within. And it was said that they are looking for 'continuity'. And he's cheap, would undoubtedly take cheaper terms than Pardew. And he's already shown he's willing to toe the party line. And, and, and... All depends on how the rest of the season goes. But I bet they'd gamble on him if he manages a survival points per game rate from now on, with it in mind that they can just give him a contract which would be cheap to get rid, hire someone else and have a Sissoko Gouffran Haidara kind of January if we need it to get us out of trouble should the worst happen. Part of me hopes we survive by the skin of our teeth so they'll almost certainly have to look elsewhere.

The new series of Always Sunny has been excellent so far, was a few duffers in the last couple of series but it's been 6 hits out of 6 so far. Dennis the standout star now.

Over 14 games we're bound to pick up points here and there, would have to be a truly disastrous run for us to go down now. 5 points from 5 games under Carver so far.
