If we lose our last games the blue twats could catch us. If we win all four we will come 5th could come 4th mate. We still got something to play for its called pride. look mate there is no way liverpool will get 4th so thats not going to happen. i think most liverpool supporters rather finish 6 and not 5th because they dont want to play in europes second rate cup. they rather just concentrate on getting 4th next season

liverpool at anfield with kenny in-charge, this one got defeat all other it. that suarez is his weight in gold, fantastic player aka tevez. i dont think carrol will play due to his knee and that fact that liverpool hvent really got anything to play for so dont think they will risk him. got a feeling enrique will have a good game, put him self up in the shop window so to speak.

he v=can be annoying sometimes but the football blackpool play makes up for him. wouldnt mind that kind of football at newcastle. would rather have holloway then padrew
-
cant stand man u and would have anyone win it apart from them. it would be nice for arsenal to win because of the fantastic football they play. for the same reason i would like blackpool to stay up
-
that was a battering. blackpool played some good football and deserved all 3 points. play like today and liverpool will have walk in the park. anyone know if carrol is playing?
-
it depends, is the posh bird fit?

There you go then. With a fully fit Ben Arfa and a few quality additions we will be better than villa, everton, sunderland and alike. Haha I'm presuming you mean if you bought Messi, Villa and Ronaldo? Sorry but Newcastle are a long way behind the quality of 1st team player that Everton are. We are also an established club who consitantly finishes in the top 5-8 places in the league, with an excellent manager and stability at the club. This is the same argument I had with my Toon supporting mate at the start of the season, and as a result of over ambitious expectations he's going to owe me £30 and his mate £10 once the last ball of the season is kicked. I dont have anything against the Toon, but for fucks sake learn to walk before you run! It takes a team several years to establish / re-establish itself in the top division... finishing 7th is a ridiculously high expectation and completely unrealistic, when even established teams such as Villa (who have a far better squad) have struggled this year. Everton Bolton Villa These are the teams that will be competing for 7th, 8th and 9th next season... I really can't see the Toon being in that bracket no matter who they sign. Top 12 maybe a realistic ambition (although with old rapey in charge I wouldn't be so sure), but top 7? Twaddle. Utter shite of the highest order. Explain why it takes years for clubs to establish themselves in the top flight? What are the factors at play? Is it because the squad in the championship is on average worth around 5-10m at most and that the revenue streams are so vastly different that immediately adjusting the wages from that level to around 50m after many seasons in the championship is risky from both a footballing and financial perspective? Yes. Which doesnt apply in even the remotest sense to Newcastle. Our wages were 5 or 6 times the level of every other championship club. Thanks to an injection of capital the club was run with higher revenues and higher wages than even some premiership clubs. Telling us to walk before we run is just trotting out some phrase you have heard which kind of makes sense to you without even having the first clue about what it actually means and why. The only limitation in our expectation at the start of the season was in the quality of the players and whether they had the talent to justify their wages. They have done quite well considering but given what they earn compared to other premiership players, any manager/fan/owner should expect the performances they have got. As for your statement about the distance between the first teams, we played you off the park at your place and had a shit day at our place but were always in the game because you didnt have the quality to take a commanding lead. Sounds like two teams at roughly the same level to me. The difference between us is that our revenues are higher, we have around 40m in the bank and we have Ben Arfa and Tiote who are far better than anything you have. who does he support ?

With a fully fit Ben Arfa and a few quality additions we will be better than villa, everton, sunderland and alike. well with enrique leaving ( let not kid our self his going to leave ) and the fact that ashley loves to keep his money in his pocket the likeness of finishing in the top 7 is small ( not impossible ). there will be 4/5 clubs trying to get that one position so its going to be hard
-
it will be hard to get into the top 7. this is how i see it (no particular order ) man u city liverpool arsenal tottenham chelsea ?????? there is one more space but i reckon everton or villa ( if they change their manager )

The Annual How's Your Other Team Doing Thread
carrolll40th replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
my other team is Brighton and they doing great. they have won the league 1 championship with 5 games left. they are looking at breaking the 100 point barrier. things are looking up the club. they are going up to the championship and moving into a new 22,500 seater stadium. its a big step up compared to the 6,000 stadium they are playing at know. they have already sold 16,000 season tickets for next season already even though this ones not even finished. gus poyet is their manager -
i think there will be alot of competition for him. would be some sort of a markee (sp) signing after selling carroll Is he any good? yea his a decent player, would improve the team. his had a good season. i would rather have his team mate navas but thats never going to happen.

Newcastle United v Manchester United
carrolll40th replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Both. He got a few "I signed him" comments in as well as dismissing the Lovenkrands appeal. He's Fergie's mate so he's biased. It was more of a penalty than the Hernandez one. for me it was no way a penalty, he deserved the card. so topical of Ferguson to just see his side penalty claim. i cant stand him -

great result, should have beaten those twats dow. would have taken the point before hand so cant really complain -
robinson was very impressive today, not easy playing agaist the pace of walcott. his only 17 so they will want a proven LB. maybe some sort of a swap deal Involving Konchesky. we can only dream, mabe enrique plus £10m. after all konchesky is a international

i have a restaurant, me and my brother bought it as a failing business but now it does ok. if your ever in the south east yr very welcome to come in for a meal. i will offer you a phall on the house give me your recipe for a 1980's type vindaloo, not the tomato and onion based curries with chilli they do nowadays, and I might start to believe you. i was born in 1984 so it might be a little hard. am not a chef so i cant really help you but from what i hear from my workers and other kitchen staff the food bk then wasnt a very good standard. personal taste i guess. i can make you a really good biryani no, no, I'll make a vindaloo myself. Just pm me the recipe or put it on here, I'm sure one of your chefs will know a good recipe for a 1980's vindaloo. They were vastly superior to what you get now. In my opinion of course. i'll see what i can do for you but i wouldnt hold my breath. in my staff the person with the most experience is the chef but his only been doing it 13yrs or so. i know one guy thats been doing it for about 30yrs so if i can i will have a word with him.
-
madrass has got a nice taste but i prefer chicken tikka vindaloo ( with mashroom and extra lime juice, served with a well done nan bread )

Aye. Complete and utter wrongun. No soul, no anything. If you're gonna be a WUM at least make it plausible, championing Liverpool's shit support on one hand and criticising the best second tier average in any league on earth in the last 35 years. Fuckin idiot. A good WUM is intelligent, take that with you and you may improve with your next ID. yes i have a soft spot for liverpool but that is also the case with Brighton and westham fc. am not criticising the supporters because they are great but its also true some did leave the club last year. if that wasnt the case then there would of been a full house every game. am being respectful so plz be the same to me I feel like Samuel L Jackson at the end in Pulp Fiction here, in normal circumstances I'd have just said look do one you total and utter mug, what you are saying is beyond comprehension, and you support 4 clubs so just you know do one. I won't though because I refuse to believe people like you exist, and I will show you respect by pretending you haven't made these posts, and pretending you're not there for any future posts you make. How's that sound? i sounds good to me, hope you have a nice day and a good life ( i dont support 4 team but i wish all them teams well. i only support one team.)
