Cabaye has shown a bit of a nasty streak to him. Just a little disappointing that they've charged him and Balotelli for two similar incidents where there's been no harm done and very little evidence of intent. Then the likes of Lescott get away scott free with blatant elbows. Pardew must have a word with Cabaye, though, 'cos it's going to become an issue if he keeps this up.

Can't say anything other than that it was completely and utterly gutting stuff. Would we have been allocated the same number as Brighton? I don't think we can have the slightest complaint about Pardew given where we are at the moment. He's done a very good job given the circumstances and I don't imagine many other managers could have done so well. His excellent manipulation of PR can also only be a good thing for our club.

No denying that his charity work is fantastic, but the guy's comments about Newcastle since he left and behaviour at the club with Shearer, Carver etc. will always colour him in my eyes. He's made himself an enemy of Newcastle in my opinion.

The fact of the matter is that Ben Arfa is going to be more effective when we have Ba and Cisse in the team and the likes of Tiote sweeping up in front of the defence.

They should just do it indoors in the summer. No need for it to be so frequent at all.
