Ben Arfa had a couple of good moments in and around their box which came to nothing. He's hopeless in front of the defence though. In fact he's been a liability on a couple of occasions with giving the ball away. Get Ameobi off, I keep saying he's just not fit enough to have any sort of impact game after game like this. Perch in front of the defence with Guthrie, Raylor on the right, Jonas on the left (defensive wingers if you will) and Ben Arfa off Best in a 4-4-1-1

I'm just very worried about a situation where Perch and Simpson are playing centre back again. We won't beat anyone with that pairing, no matter how many the Dembas can bang in...

Certainly more positive than I was this time last year. However, the search for a new centre back should have been an absolute priority. Noone in their right mind can claim Bassong wouldn't have been a MAJOR improvement on Perch at centre back. Colo or Williamson are bound to get injured at some point in the remainder of the season.

No Dembas involved tomorrow. Hope we play 4-4-2 but I'm not holding out hope of a great performance. Would take a point tbh in light of our last 135 minutes of football.
