Coutinho did his best with Liverpool playing with Gerrard. Make sense. In addition, looks like he is very close friend with Douglas Luiz (both are from the same neighborhood) and Wesley (but Wesley are on loan in Belgium this season). -

And I am sure, all of them are in 'real playing'. I mean, he hardly ever was the select to kick corners and free kicks. -

I didn't know this story.... One of my favourites was Rosicky. When he played in Borussia, his elder young Jiri Rosicky played in Atletico Young Team. Atletico get a deal to sign him and Rosicky took a flight. During the travel, Borussia did not trust the Atletico Payment and decided to sell him to Arsenal. When Rosicky arrived to Madrid, he arrived to Atletico Academy ground, ready to meet de city and everything when he received a phone call to his agent. Ok boy, you are an Arsenal player . -

I always say the same respect the transfer market. I don't believe anything until I see the player being announced for the team. And not even like that. Do you remember Fernando Hierro? The CB of Real Madrid and Spanish National Team in 90s? This man played in Valladolid... And Atletico signed him. He was announced officialy by Atletico, he made photos in the Stadium.... And the same day in the afternoon he was signed by Real Madrid and played 15 years in Real. And like this there are so many failed transfers. -

hahaha If any of you follow NBA and know Woj, I think Romano is more or less with him. Romano works with tems, agents, federations... I am not sure if UEFA is inside too, but they need a man make it as reliable as possible. For example... He have been in some private jets with the players when they are transfer to another team... Or in presentations. I'll show you Fabrizio Romano (The man in the left.... obviously) (The girl is Grelmoss in Instagram). -

A few years ago, I was really surprised by a man who did not know anything and who seemed to get absolutely all the signings right. Gianluca Di Marzio. He put breaking news and news on Twitter, with exclusive photos of the players ... And they ended up being fulfilled. The problem? The world of transfers is very complex. There are transfers that are closed, in the absence of only a signature, or a medical examination, and in the end they cannot be finalized. I know of some cases, like Cazorla. When he played for Arsenal, he spent a few days in Madrid. We have a mutual friend, we ate together ... He had undergone a medical examination with the Atletico. And he never signed. Something similar happened to Negredo in 2014 when he already had everything agreed. But Di Marzio seemed to get everything right. At that time I was working at El Mundo (the national newspaper with the most readers in Spain), covering Atlético de Madrid. It was 2014, the year of the World Cup in Brazil. And I remember seeing Di Marzio on the Brazilian beaches with players and former players as if he were everyone's friend. That guy had ties to everyone. The bad thing is that he realized that what he sold the most were simple unsubstantiated rumors. He spent a few years writing absolute garbage and was no longer reliable. Until he came back on the right path. For a couple of years, Fabrizio Romano, who is an apprentice of Di Marzio, has appeared. They worked together. Romano collaborates with clubs and agents. He may fail in signings, but everything he says that he is negotiating is usually true. Regrettably. Or almost everything. His apprentice is Matteo Moretto. -

Should be Botman-Fede or Botman-Schar. But probably we will see Botman-Lascelles. If we get the dutch, the best thing is probably we won't see Clark anymore, because Botman is letf fooded like Clark. -

You can be sure. The only thing have change in the club between 1987 and 2022 is Simeone. This man is absolute amazing. It's the Atletico soul. The things he have achieve fighting against Real Madrid and Barcelona are incredibles. Miguel Angel Gil, that is the owner since 2003, is most intelligent than his father... But with him, the team was very bad until Simeone come back as a coach. And you can be sure, when Simeone decide to go... Atletico will suffer some like Arsenal or Man United when Wenger and Sir Alex gone. Is for that that I regret Shearer really never had the chance to get the team... Because I think Shearer is in Newcastle like Simeone in Atletico. And yes... The Striker... In 1998 we get Vieri, the man scored 24 goals in 24 matches.... He was Top Scorer. In 1999 we get Hasselbaink... He was second in Top Scorer (and it was the year we get relegated). Later... In First Division... Torres, Aguero, Forlán, Costa, Falcao, Villa, Mandzukic, Griezmann... But we did so many bad signings too. Vietto, Gameiro, Jackson Martínez...
