What I can't understand is the fact that we've refused to pay Seb Larsson double of his current wages, while Ireland must be on far more money and Villa won't want to finance a new Range Rover when he's out on loan. Considering that we're shorter on options out wide, that seems a bit strange.

He's a great player, the form of players fluctuate when they're not getting a regular 90 minutes, my only concern is where he will fit in. That's the point. I can't see him getting 90 mins week in week out (which he needs atm), consequently this will have an impact on his form. Decent player, but would rather go for a winger and a forward.

Not much in that one. Swiss Papers simply stating that there has been an enquiry regarding Barnetta's contract situation (at Leverkusen until 2012), while there's no intent to buy him in January because of his injury. Pardew has been in talks with him when he was West Ham boss IIRC.

I do like Arsenal's football as much as I do appreciate Fabregas as a great footballer. But I'm getting sick of those "they used rugby tactics" (Fabregas, in today's Telegraph) comments when they fuck it up themselves in a Cup semi and simply get beaten by the better team, whose manager spotted a weakness in Wenger's tactics (high defensive line). I'm by no means a fan of Fat Sam spoiling tactics, but Arsenal should be looking at themselves after yet again failing in an important game, in this case against lower opposition. The same goes for Barcelona - fucking around when drawing with a British team and thinking their football - which is great to watch! - is the only way to play it. Arsenal tried to do that themselves - and got slaughtered at Nou Camp. That's why I'm a big fan of coaches like Jose Mourinho - they set up their teams in a way that gives them the biggest chance of getting sth. Now, I'd love to see Arsenal get knocked out and whinging yet again. End of rant, but I've not even started to talk about their fucking diving .....

I agree that Ancelotti, Woy & Grant are likely to get the sack - but while Fat Sam would suit a shit club like West Ham and probably would get them relegated, who is in the running for the job at Liverpool & Chelsea?
