  1. Jammy bloody goal and we just didnt hold on! Still funny to see Bruce celebrate like a victory and hey, a lot of us were expecting a defeat!
  2. SHIT SCARED OF SHOLA, YER RUNNING SHIT SCARED OF SHOLA! SHIT SCARED OF SHOOOOLAAAAAA! And its true, they would rather prefer Shola out than Carroll!
  3. Two things remain important in the match, The first 15 minutes and the first goal. I think if you hold Sunderland for 15 minutes, all that pent up aggression will go in to sheer furstration which could lead to absolute foolish mistakes and over playing. The first goal will also be important as I think it will shake Sunderlands confidence and get the crowd on the players back. They are desperate to beat us and sometimes being too desperate results in many problems! Plus Bramble might gift us one with such nerves!
  4. Mirror reports that Steve Bruce is planning to play a song to the toon army at the end of the match if they win. Did not reveal the song however was saying how much he was upset after getting beaten badly like fat ginger step child! Personally, I really hope we win or even draw this match just to piss him off!
  5. I am desperately hoping you are itk in relation to your pre xmas thread. I think it will be more like "Lose and you will need promote the Sports Direct range, Lonsdale to begin with!"
  6. I think Enrique will play in this match and I think Pardew will go 4-5-1 to stop an onslaught of Sunderland pressure with no Tiote Simpson Willo Colo Enrique Routaledge (Or Larsson) Barton Smith Guti Nolan Carroll Unfortunately, I think he might opt for Smith in midfield to battle it out with Cattermole and hopefully nulify his effect! You can also bet that Pardew will be looking for free kicks so he can ping the ball in to you box. Expect Guti to turn from Spiderman to Superman with him diving through the air in the superman pose!
  7. According to this article it also looks slim unless we can clearly prove Tiote should not have been sent off! Quick, someone email Pardew that picture diagram! Source
  8. Guthrie makes my blood boil. He done alright the first season he came here, looked as if he was good and would improve then this season, he has just given up. When he lost the ball at Arsenal in the cup tie and didnt even bother chasing back to make up for his mistake! Should be sold ASAP!
  9. Its a pity Alan Pardew doesnt have Twitter. Carroll was on there saying he feels like he is going to be fine for the Sunderland match however in the Chronicle he says he hasnt spoke to him and doesnt know! He could have kept up to date with Enriques injury against Spurs as well
  10. In my opinion, the tackle was fair and made by a professional football player. He has made millions of these tackles in his footballing life and I think he judged it well. A lot of people will say what if he caught the player, however when you go in to make the tackle, you always make allowances for that. Which I am sure Tiote would have done. The tackle, wasnt malicious and it did not have the intent to injure. The intent was to win the ball and put it back in to Newcastles possession. I know a lot of the Mackems are bickering over this. Some have came out and said it isnt a red card whilst others (Majority) are saying it will be a red. Unfortunately, I do not think the red card will be reversed and the reason is, FIFA has decided that this season they want to stamp out this sort of tackle in the game. They think this is causing all the major injuries in the game and I am sure this has been clearly communicated to the Referees hence Marriners descision to send off Tiote. I hope I am wrong, however looking back at the other descisions of the panel, they wont. Unless they give us Karma points for the Ben Arfa leg break.
  11. I think he will be a good squad addition for his ability to cross and his long range efforts he can score however I think he is another Ryan Taylor however he does slightly shade it for me ahead of Ryan Taylor. On his day Taylor has a great cross and shooting ability. Unfortunately, the rest of his game lets him down.
  12. Back on the subject! I personally think Tiote has a better engine than Batty. Tiote always make an assessment of his passes before completing them. I notice that most of his passes are the safest ones he can make at the time. If he cant make a safe pass then he just holds the ball until he can release it. Batty was a bit more skilled though. You have to look at the period of football as well. Times have changed since Batty and I think Tiote would have been much better in Battys day. To sum up, my choice would be Tiote!
  13. Looks like Jose got in trouble with Twitter Still, you got to laugh!
  14. Using the logic of this season... Away against a team on form would usually result in a loss however after the Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton results I think we will win! Just our luck, we will get beaten by the next crap team at SJP!
  15. I am all for signing the lad however I do hope Newcastle have managed to get money off the transfer fee. Its a gamble on a player with a double leg break who relies on his sharp turn of pace to get past players.
  16. We are all forgetting Gareth Bale is Welsh, therefore, Carroll will win it for being the next big English thing! Nasri has been alright however it was Carroll who had the last laugh when they met!
  17. I have to agree with the above, £1.5mil for a player who was being told he could play for England are well below the valuation point. Its not like he is out of contract this summer, maybe then I could understand. 18 months left on the contract and the £1.5mil would be better kept as he is the only one supplying Carroll with the bullets. Besides, I wouldnt want to see him go. I like Joey, a very honest person who may have a chequered past but I can imagine he has been very good in the dressing room!
  18. Martin Samuel got his article spot on there and for once didnt blame the fans however one little thing in the article! He says Hughton blessed Newcastle with Andy Carroll who can go on to become an established member of the England team however only a few months ago, he said that Andy Carroll had his chance at Man Utd and blew it. Said he wouldnt do much in the Premiership and wrote the lad off. Funny how Martin Samuel can twist events. Andy Carroll chance blew Old Trafford
