I can see our experienced centre back and striker amongst that list! Both have experience of the premiership, one was a world class striker and the other played centre back for years in the premiership... Bramble and Owen step forward! :-D

Just found this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEWCASTLE-UNITED-ENGLAND-SPECIAL-ART-NO-SAMPLE-SHIRT-BY-PUMA/111086065947?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D8104540417660198709%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D111086065947%26

I think we need him back if I am honest. He is a one trick pony with the headers but we need that threat as me majorly lack that. A lot of people say Barton made him the threat but in the same breath we now have Cabaye who could equally do the same. I think for me Carroll would work perfectly in the 4-3-3 system as a left forward. Cisse in the middle and Ben Arfa from the right. With Debuchy and Ben Arfa constantly pumping balls in the box then he will score. He is also a good crosser every time I seen him play. My dream line up would be Krul, Debuchy, Taylor, Colo, Santon, Tiote, Cabaye, Sissoko, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Carroll.

A lot of people have a go at Wonga however we got a good deal. We got St James Park back and they are investing money in to our Academy as well. It was much more money than the Virgin deal. I would personally love the Newcastle Brown Ale logo however business is business. The negative comes from the way they do business however they clearly explain their rates of interest and fees on thier website. People who use them know exactly what they are going to pay and what the service is about. Surprisingly Wonga can actually be more affordable to use than an unauthorised bank over draft.

Our referees are unfortunately under constant scrutiny due to a lot of factors in terms of money, importance of results. Today's EPL refs are surrounded by millionaires who play football however the FA and indeed UEFA and FIFA don't give referees the support they need to help make correct judgements. In today's game offside, goal line and off the ball incidents could and should be cleared up with the use of technology at the match however this is not done in the game. What the fourth officials do in the European games I will never know. This game could be made a lot fairer if decisions were called correctly. Newcastle and Cisse got robbed a few times this season. We have to remember that referees are only human, we all have bad days at the office and we will make mistakes but in most jobs, we have technology to avoid mistakes all together it's just our football governing body decided not to go down that path. I personally think football needs a new and fresh approach at the top level.

I keep on thinking next season we will win a trophy and I don't know why as I have never felt like that before! Also top 6 and a trophy!

Looking at the Cabaye Issue, I think we are also missing the point on Tiote here as well. He has been absolutely awful this season and has been like that since the summer. His lack of form amd ability of going missing in games has made Cabaye play so much more deeper. Cabaye on odd occassion has shown his quality however I think he will come back a stronger player if sold. I personally think they will try to keep Cabaye but Tiote will be out and has been since October. I have always said since the Sissoko rumours started that he was finished and he will be cashed in on. Pardew can waffle on his warrior shite with Tiote but unfortunately it's time he took an honourable exit. I don't see him staying in the Premier League, I see him going to Italy. It would suit him better. I also see Obertan going back to France. PS I would be depressed having to play in the Europa league after starring in the World Cup! -
Fat Freddy the Fuck ups... Sir Bobby Robson actually wrote a bit in his book about Freddy. Let us remember SBR was one of the most experienced men of football. He had brought through the worlds best players. Transfer dealings according to Bobby in his book with Freddy.. Gary Speed - Bobby couldn't get Viana in his team and sanctioned him to be loaned back out to the Portuguese League to gain first team opportunities he then gets a call from Freddy saying Gary wants to say goodbye. SBR tried to keep him but failed which led to the next part... Butt Vrs Carrick - SBR had told Freddy to get Carrick, Freddy turned him down for £3mil and said he would be available for £500k in January. Spurs picked up the bill and sold him later for £16mil. We got Butt, a player later loaned to Brum for being on the Man Utd blues. Sell Woodgate, Buy Rooney - Freddy told Bobby if he accepted the £12 mil for Woodgate they were going to sign Wayne Rooney, Bobby agreed and ..... no Wayne Rooney. Bobby Robson was dismissed on the 30th of August 2004 for a poor start to the season, Freddy actually PAID to bring Souness to Newcastle United from a Blackburn team who were struggling. A manager who had famously tackled Dwight Yorke on the training pitch. Signings include Boumsong, Amdy Faye, Luque, Owen. The Ashley era for the first few years has been nothing short of a shambles. Signings Smith, Geremi, Cacapa, too many to list.... Now take in to consideration from Ashley that we begin to see the learning curve take effect from when we got relegated. Signings after learning curve Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Santon, etc. I even look at the other signings we made this month and think we are doing good. The players we are getting are hungry, they want to be here. We have dodged a few bullets like Gervinho. My opinion :- Freddy was like one of those stunning blondes tarted up in her best but has a part time job in boots. She has maxed out her credit card and is hopeful of money coming in from a sugar daddy who finds her attractive to pay her bills. Ashley - a ruthless business man who has a plan. How can people say he has no ambition when we finished 5th? Our second season back after relegation. After seeing the troubles of Portsmouth, Rangers, Leeds, Etc. I would prefer to know we are going to have a club in 10 years rather than risking it. Ps:- by today's standards if share holders had a majority shareholding in NUFC back then, Freddy and the halls wouldn't be on the board under the corporate governance code.

Sissoko is very athletic player. Extremely physical in his battle. He is slightly different to Tiote as he likes to get forward. He is more than capable of bursting past a defender with his strength and pace. His tackling is of the same of Tiote however I think Tiote reads the game better and protects the back 4 better. I expect him to be Tiotes replacement, I have said that since October since noises been coming out about Tiote being a liability with his disciplinary record, etc. It would be nice to have both. Our team as it is will be 1-2 quality strikers short of being a top 6 team- 1745 replies

I spoke to a guy in work who is in our Paris office. He asked me what team I supported. So I asked him about the players... Mbiwa he said was a good player. He stopped short of saying amazing. Sissoko he couldn't praise him high enough. Said he was amazing and Newcastle will have a right gem on their hands. Gouffran he said was am average player. Not amazing and not exactly popular in France. I also spoke to him about Barton. The French love Joey Barton. See him as a bit of a midfield boss man. I asked him if he has known about his off the field problems and then started telling him haha!

I doubt we will sign Aliadierre. If I remember correctly he was put forward to us when Carroll had been sold and the window was shut. It was him, Kuqi, some Brazillian Evando? Or something and I think the other plan was to use Alan Smith as a striker which Alan Pardew scrapped as he realised Smiths best position was left back....in the changing room. We turned Aliadierre down back then when we were up the wall, I doubt we will take him now when we have options.

Ashley has a plan for Remy, he will buy him however he will hire him out as a dancer (See video) when he isn't playing football ... Sure Remy and Ranger will get on famously
-
If we got Remy and lost Ba then I wouldn't be so unhappy. As much as I like Ba for his very active role he takes as a striker and as much he seems like a good guy, unfortunately I think his agents do a lot of damage the harmony of the club. It's funny how the biggest Wheeler Dealer 'Arry revealed the Ba Clause as a possible favour or backhander from an agent. The reason why he hasn't moved is cause his agents want too much money and let's not forget Ba does have a say in his future. If we got someone like Remy followed by Debuchy then it would be a great window. Topped off with Sahko. It's pie in the sky though. One thing we lack is that player who loves getting to the by line for a cross and constantly providing crosses. A forward 3 of Remy, Cisse and Ben Arfa would be very difficult for any team to handle. It would cause a lot of problems. Ba - needs to sign now or go. If he really wants to stay, he needs the show it by signing

I know a lot of people are saying about this maybe upset the team and the balance of play. In a 4-3-3 I think Carroll would work well as the left sided striker. The times I seen him drift out on the the left he was very good at crossing the ball in. Where that would leave our midfield trio would baffle me. You cant drop Tiote or Cabaye and to be honest I like Gutierrez but not in a more central role. Personally Ba and Cisse don't really get started due to Ramadan coinciding with the start of our season. I am sure Cisse is also a Muslim faith. So we would need Carroll as cover for start and ACON Its the futures of Ben Arfa that I would question with this move and also Obertan. They won't really fit a 4-3-3 with Ba, Carroll and Cisse unless you take out Gutierrez for Ben Arfa however that limits our defensive capabilities as Guti does some running for the defence

Not really, I think Puma has so much potential to make nicer kits as they go for a more Retro feel. In the end, I have bought the 93 home shirt with the blue star on the front from EBay, it's really nice and this one is in great condition for its age. I think their training kits are good in terms of looks and feel however they don't wear that well. The Adidas one I wear from the championship season still looks good as new for the material but the Puma one has a million pulls and bobbles all over it. Shame really! The only bad thing about the Adidas one is the badge becomes discoloured
-
Not really feeling it, I think it's another year of getting the training kit for me

Our Spanish superstar scored the winning goal tonight to secure Deportivo a return to La Liga. Talk they might sign him. I would offer him for fuck all in the hope they take him. Two winning goals in these two matches. Hope they take him under some deluded illusion he's good.

I think Enrique was a fool spurned on by the loss of Nolan and Barton no doubt feeding his head with negative stuff. The weird thing, if we had kept Enrique we would have had been more in 3rd or 4th as he was a very solid left back. To be honest, Santon is starting to come good now and it's only disappointing that the season is about to end as he is starting to find his feet. Enrique deep down wont like looking at our league position but will feel justified with his Winners medal. If Newcastle get champions league and it's a BIG ask then that medal won't shine as much as the champions league is where all players want to be!
-
For us he was useless but Sol Campbell was a great defender. Had everything you wanted. Strength, aerial ability and could bully strikers. If you were a striker up against him then you knew it was going to take something special to beat him in his prime.
-
Sorry for your loss

Quiet you fools, the boy has done a bit of coaching and is giving us the key to success here! Quick some one get Pardew on the phone to let him know we have found the answers on this topic! I ain't stupid so... FUCK OFF YA MACKEM BASTARD!

I think if he comes then Danny Simpson is off to Villa or QPR. He has been pissing about with Newcastle for a while and it looks like they are ready to cash in. We should get a few million for him which isn't bad considering we only bought him for 500k.
