  1. There was a little snippet in the evening chronicle saying we had two deals in place for international players. They are due to go through as soon as the transfer window opens. In my experience of Newcastle, I somehow dont see this actually materialising. Still, you got to wonder who these two internationals are? Mind you if it's anything to go by a wow signing in this regime it will be a Fareo isles international!
  2. I am sure I read somewhere that Nolan is on 50k a week. He joined just before Ashley started saying no to big contracts. The likes of Colo, etc.
  3. Very much turned times with Barton. I wouldnt have cared if he left after the season of relegation, now we must keep him. He has been excellent. 1/3 is a bit harsh. I would have given him 50k to match Nolan!
  4. I am sure if I held on to the victory it would have been a different story besty haha
  5. You look at Adel and thinking of the team you could stick behind him at Newcastle. Tiote would suit him perfectly. Maybe stick Barton or Nolan as a pairing with Tiote in the centre and you have a very creative team! Problem is, we need a striker who will actually score. You can provide all the bullets you want however without an accurate gun, you wont get much out of it!
  6. Besty, My Dortmund team is Classed as 4 and a half stars. My stats were 78-76-76 whilst your Napoli team was four star however it was 82-76-75. Do I get special dispensation to play or will I need to change teams. Your team has a much stronger attach whilst mine only had a slightly better defensive by 1 point.
  7. Stephen Folan, one of the reserves! Its the Santiago Munez scandal all over again!
  8. I am not happy with the draw. Should have shut up shop at half time! Ach well! Good result anyways. Hoping the lag problem gets better!
  9. Is there just an invite waiting for the league or do I have to go through some way of joining it?
  10. Right Besty, probably the one I wanted to avoid straight away. You will probably beat me easily! You on tonight for much longer?
  11. Turn down James for being a mackem? Haha
  12. I wait in baited breath to see my league opponent!
  13. That would be my concern as well with Hooper. However when you look at the likes of Robbie Keane and Bellamy who have went there and not done much better, you got to ask if he could do it in the Premier League. Its the same with the likes of Steven Fletcher who has done alright in the EPL. Not exactly set it on fire. Snodgrass, there is something about his play I like. Maybe not a first team player but certainly would add something to the squad.
  14. Lakaku you just have to look at his REAL LIFE stats, Wickham I have seen play and Hooper, I have also seen play a few times. I dont play FM either and dont claim to either.
  15. Having a look through the players we could get at the toon who would come to us, I am expecting some signings who will take us by surprise. Pardew is looking at Puncheon as he has admitted. Robert Snodgrass - Once scouted by Barcelona and went of trial with them - He is a very tricky player and has been brilliant for Leeds and has looked comfortable at International level as well. He is just the type of tricky player we need. Bannan - Whether Villa would let this highly rated midfielder go would be the question however this young lad has some engine in him. A bit rough around the edges but nothing the likes of Nolan and Barton wouldnt be able to sort out. I would ship Guthrie out and bring this kid in. Gary Hooper - Was excellent for Scunthorpe in the Championship, has been excellent for Celtic this season. Got a very quick turn of pace and a good finisher. Had a shocker against Rangers on Sunday however the pitch was horrendous at Hampden which wouldnt suit his sort of ball playing skills. Lakaku - Has been excellent and a great replacement for Andy Carroll. He has the same stats as Andy Carroll. He doesnt only assist but he also scores as well. Very young and very rough around the edges. Pity a few of the big clubs have taken notice of him however whether thats his agent doing the talking and trying to drum up interest remains to be seen. Connor Wickham - Anther one the big boys are after. Seen him play us on the last day of the season and he would be another excellent player to snap up! I await deadman to come along and tell me how they do on FIFA 11, after that we will send them on to Pardew based on Deadmans FIFA 11 report.
  16. Is it a belt buckle thats suppose to look like a gun handle! Very Gang-star Stevey Ireland!
  17. hahaha! Didnt see anyone post it up. I thought the picture was too good a chance not to have a bit of a dig at.
  18. Stephen Folan, Stephen Ireland and Leon Best spotted out on the Friday night in Tup Tup palace. If Ireland and Best were drinking Alcohol then fair enough, they deserve a right lashing for it. They are injured and alcohol will only slow down any recovery they will make from injury. As regards to the photo, well I am sure Xisco will be loving this and firing off a couple of white torpedos in to a Kleenex over it.
  19. I should be available for a game after about 7ish with a bit of notice!
  20. I knew when Enrique went off that was it for us. Play Lovankrands against Stoke was nothing short of bloody stupid. A light weight player vrs the Rugby players in Stokes defence. As I said previously, this was a game for Kuqi, he is a bit of a lump up front but he would have matched Stokes defence. As regards to this 5-3-2, It didnt work at Everton, how was it going to work against Stoke. The hint is in the pitch Pardew, its one of the smallest Premier Leagues pitch by choice! Stoke are a horrible team and the sooner they get relegated, the better! Same with Blackburn!
  21. Lovenkrands is useless against Stoke!
  22. I think this game is made for Kuqi! This is his style of football.
  23. Are the games ranked or unranked?
