As the author of the original post, I'd like to point out that a. just because something is derogatory, that doesn't make it racist b. just because you don't agree with an opinion, that doesn't make it libellous c. the anti sectarianism group in Scotland, "Nil By Mouth," set up after the sectarian murder of a Celtic fan by Rangers supporters, doesn't regard Hun as an example of sectarian hate speak. d. i'm off on holiday to Bilbao & the rest of the Basque country tomorrow

Hiya all, Percy Main Amateurs of the Northern Alliance Premier Division need about £10k to replace the club house roof at Purvis Park. As part of our fund raising drive we've got a load of football books, programmes & fanzines for sale. Specifically related to Newcastle are the following books, all priced 50p each or £2 the lot, plus postage Ged Clarke – Fifty Years of Hurt: Newcastle United 1955-2005 Paul Gascoigne – Being Gazza Paul Joannou – Fortress St James (2 copies) Paul Joannou – The Newcastle United Quiz Book Kevin Keegan – My Autobiography Stuart Pearce – Psycho Dylan Younger – Newcastle’s Cult Heroes There's about 100 programmes at 20p each & The Mag 217 (March 07). I'd take £10 for the lot & if it's in the local area, I can deliver or the buyer can collect. As I say, all money raised goes to Percy Main Amateurs.

It isn't me, it's a bloke from Cork who lives in Bray, but I do need a haircut; got one scheduled for Wednesday AM

Ha! Won one in the post match draw at the Cricket Club today; on the halfway line in the New Stand (East stand for bairns) And Percy Main won 9-0 today
-
So nobody has a spare then?

just bumping this back up. Got Plan B of Byker Key Club v The Turbinia in the Malcolm Turner Trophy if all else fails
-
Of course it's a wind up; I just hate Mackems and Steve Brewse
-
Ellis Short's choice, but Niall Quinn wants Brewse as it's better for him apparently....
-
interestingly i'll be at Lissywoolen for Athlone Town v Salthill Devon on Monday 30th

Newcastle United Vs. West Bromwich Albion

very droll; i'd rather put money in the pocket of a supporter to reimburse them than money in the club coffers, as i'm sure you can understand -

Not been since Man City on Boxing Day & quite fancy this one. Anyone got a spare ticket they want to punt? always prefer to buy from a fan than put money in the club.

isn't the championship more fun than the premiership anyway? -
Carroll & Dalglish seem to be good pals; it's nice to see that they can put enmity behind them.

When I lived in London, used to watch them with 2 mates from work. One was QPR fan, the other Wealdstone, who I used to watch as well. Happy days; 86-87. Saw us lose at QPR, Wimbledon & Watford, but win at Arsenal & Chelsea. Drew at Spurs -
I'm a big fan of The Fall & I liked how Dalglish looked like Mark E Smith

I think it's because the English ruling class have oppressed both Ireland & Scotland (and continue to do so by occupying 6 counties of Ireland) that Celtic fans have an understandable problem with the English ruling class. Rangers just appear to be fascists & Uncle Toms. P.S. just spent all weekend with 2 mates from County Roscommon, so I may not be either seeing or thinking straight
-
We all know the Celtic support don't indulge in anything like that there all good eggs and all that.........................................they just support their team and don't taunt the Rangers support in the stadium no, of course they don't behave like angels, but a tiny percentage of them are thugs unlike 90% of the Huns (and their entire club hierarchy as well don't forget). also, this thread is entitled "rangers fans being bellends," so it's understandable the Huns are in for some understandable abuse.
-
Rangers are a billion times worse than Celtic. The Tic might sing about "The fields of Athenry," but The Huns fund sectarian killings in the Six counties, not to mention carrying out a fair few in Glasgow. It's time the SFA shut The Huns down for good; as an institution they are like the KKK in football boots Incidentally, I'm not a Celtic fan; I'm just someone who hates racism & prejudice

Crowds (or the lack of them in Smogland)
Gene_Clark replied to Gene_Clark's topic in Newcastle Forum
That's how they cleared up crimes; gave skagheads a few wraps if they put their hands up to a couple of hundred burglaries apiece. Not exactly zero tolerance is it?
