  1. Personally I'm bored of the whole super fan protest culture circus now. They should either put up or shut up. Either carry on going to the games & accept they are lining Ashley's pockets, or walk away & find something else to do with their time that doesn't cause them as much conspicuous emotional agony. Last season the mantra was; "all we want is a team that tries." Now we've got one it's not enough apparently, so we're demanding 50 million quid players like toddlers at the shops and threatening to flounce off if the manager does one. Can you imagine Benitez's press conference after the latest trip to the barricades following the Braga shambles? “It’s clear to see the fans are worried. Thankfully a few supporters have written a letter and I can confirm Mike Ashley has now sold the club, having bought Mbappe and Willian as farewell presents. Keep on keeping on.”... Give it a rest lads, eh?
  2. you're really rather nauseating aren't you
  3. they managed to go to the wrong place of work though.... messageboard vigilantes; whatever next?
  4. are you suggesting that there are moralistic souls out there who will respond to that by assaulting him for his voyeurism? rather Victorian i'd say....
  5. i've reported several posts that seem to be intent on naming people. not bothered about myself but i do know the safety of those lads who were at the Burton game is in jeopardy; think we should all be aware of this & exercise restraint
  6. I state quite categorically, for the avoidance of doubt, that I am absolutely elated Sunderland have been relegated for the second season running. The suffering engendered by every single one of those 6 shameful defeats in a row by them was worth it, just to be able to laugh loudly and uproariously at their fate. In all seriousness, I hope the club goes out of business and that they reform in the Durham Alliance with Jack Rodwell as player manager.
  7. used to, years back but got banned under both names i had not even registered now on account of their bizarre insistence on a non-webmail email.....
  8. zig81 is a fucking moron, but DrNo! Is just as bad; 99% of his posts are anti NUFC. He's another with a hatred of me because he got caught out by his email address of rokerlad@hotmail.com - he's a voyeur who likes watching dogging couples.....
  9. Massive love to the Fish who has to endure endless accusations that he's me, for some reason that's beyond the comprehension of either of us
  10. As Dennis said to me on the terrace at Westminster back in 2011; "we should avoid the cult of personality at all times." I agree wholeheartedly
  11. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/council-fraud-stephen-ramsey-gosforth-14311818 used to know this lad quite well; was part of the squad in Eindhoven 2004 nicer lad you couldn't meet; shocked to read this, but no sympathy as i'm proud to say i've never had a bet in my life
  12. this thread is good; zig81 really is the bitterest bastard in the world https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/michael-martin.1420348/
  13. now the dust has finally settled, the facts are the only people who still support Brexit are unemployable gambling addicts from South Tyneside & educationally subnormal lorry drivers with anger management issues
  14. DERDY............ https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/i-did-say-we-were-shite-against-derdy.1424974/
  15. yes Bobby Robson was spat on; in September 82 before a 1-1 v Chelsea, as he'd left Keegan out of his first England squad & not told him in advance. as regards attitudes to St Niall, I was at the 2nd ever game at SoS in Aug 97 (day before our trip to Liverpool was postponed because of some car crash in Paris) when the Mackems lost 1-0 to Norwich. At full time the abuse Quinn got was unreal; "Fenian bastard," being one of the particularly enlightened comments. He was absolutely hated that day; probably got on their good side because he was a self confessed problem drinker & terrible parent....
  16. New releases: Trembling Bells - "Dungeness" Yo La Tengo - "There's A Riot Going On" Pete Astor - "One For The Ghost" Candy Opera - "45 Revolutions A Minute" Catch ups: The Fall - "New Facts Emerge" Us & Them - "Dwindling Within The Fading Sun"
  17. Obviously it's gigs 2018.... After having only seen Mogwai (who were excellent) so far this year, I'm off to The Cumberland tomorrow for ex Loft & Weather Prophets C86 demi god Pete Astor. In April, I'm taking a trip to Leeds on Saturday 14th for Mekons 77 at The Brudenell. May will see Yo La Tengo, also in Leeds at Church on Thursday 3rd, then Swervedriver at the hideous Academy on 15th. Back there June 8th for The Wedding Present. Last one on the horizon is The Band of Holy Joy at Tynemouth CIU club on Saturday 7th July.
