If Ba goes, this is Xisco's big opportunity

and if it all goes to shit, Christmas Tree can walk away from Newcastle United, in the same way he accidentally stumbled upon them as a hobby in early middle age; with no understanding of the history & culture of the club or region, no comprehension of the nature of the emotional involvement involved in following a club & no realistation of how much the likes of him are despised by every NUFC worthy of the name. his kind are worse than those who become NUFC fans post 92 as a way of making money out of the supporters

no point in mentioning anyone pre 2010 to CT; he didn't like football until then

exactly why we shouldn't persist with that Simpson to Williamson free kick, especially with our pygmy squad....- 10610 replies

When my partner was a student, she worked in The Forth & said he had the foulest temper in the world. Once the Jazz Cafe was burgled (takings, drink, tabs; usual) & the coppers had to go upstairs to his flat to see if there had been anything else stolen. Unsurprisingly, he lived in squalor & copper who had looked at place called in to The Forth afterwards for cuppa & a chat, ostensibly to ask if there were witnesses, & described Crombie's living quarters as "a gorilla's nest."

In all seriousness, obviously hysteria is easy after such a result; the most important thing, as far as I’m concerned, is Pardew keeps his nerve & reflects on his substitutions. Without the changes we would probably have lost anyway, but going so gung-ho caused the late collapse. This must never happen again; otherwise I may start to wonder about his judgement. While at any ordinary club, such a result would be seen as reason to sign players to strengthen the team, we are far from an ordinary club; although, in the midst of that defensive carnage, we scored 2 truly excellent goals in the second period. In December 2000: Arsenal 5 Newcastle 0 - a far worse battering than today. In 76//77 we let in 7 at Man Utd & 5 at Arse, but finished 5th, so don't despair!! Fundamentally, all that matters now is we beat Everton. That will not happen unless Pardew keeps his job & his temper & the team step up. The manager knows what he has to do is pick the players up, put the obvious faults right & hope for some good luck; that happens, we're fine. If it doesn't & he panics or has the rug pulled from under him in any way, we're screwed.

you could have said "the ability of my phone to spell." you chose not to & said, or should have, "my phone's ability to spell." the apostrophe you omitted was required as you were talking about your phone's (note how i've used it) ability to spell, which is a quality it possesses. -
