This will be huge, get a big named striker in early and the rest will pay attention. Man City signing Robinho changed their whole transfer strategy. That’s the sort of signing you need early

imagine 🤣🤣

🤣 I’m not saying it was anywhere near full but that’s before kick off. Before people get to their seats.

It was a great goal though

Do you not have cheesy chips in Newcastle like? 😉

I think Brentford will go down by 1 point. Norwich and Burnley are gone. They’re both terrible. you aren’t a terrible side, I just think your defence is so weak. Shelvey isn’t as bad as some make out. I even read some people today blaming ASM????? Saying because he’s so attacking, he leaves the defence exposed. Laughable ffs 2 things there, you were playing one of the best attacking sides in the world. 2nd point, attacking players should be allowed to attack, the defence need to defend. He’s a key player in your survival.

The next 15 games could easily be 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses. That give you 30 points with 5 games to play. That’s not an unrealistic target. Look at where you are with such a terrible start. You’re just 3 points (and a massive score line) away from survival. I still think you’ll stay up. Burnley and Brentford will drop

It could end up like the Roque Santa Cruze signing. Decent enough player but was only needed for a small step in the process. Then was paid a shit ton to go out on loan every year. -

It’ll be forgotten about in a few seasons. People were mad at Chelsea then Man City. The top clubs understand business and will happily take the money. Your best option is pluck some mercenary from Barcelona to get the ball rolling. The post above almost had it right by saying you need your Robinho signing (even if he was daft for saying Haaland) that will set the wave in motion. But anyway I hope they’re all flops and not only do you bankrupt yourself but you bankrupt Saudi Arabia too 😁 -

I think the opposite. Plucking players from Burnley and Leeds would be easier as they need to plan for the future and the money will help. Team like Man City and Liverpool would happily sell players that aren’t in their squad or barely getting a game. It frees up wages and a space. it’s team like Everton and Leicester that would make the biggest stand. They’ll survive for at least the next few seasons so don’t need to make a panic pile of cash, but aren’t successful enough to easily attract another big name if they sold someone off. Football has proven time and time again that money is everything -

Only 3 points in it now. For 1 win in 15 and still to be 1 win away from safety is unbelievable -

You can relax now. Job done -
I agree. We were circling that drop for a long time. The longer we hung on the worse the long term damage was gonna be

He kept us up. Can’t remember who went down instead. He’s probably the least shit manager we’ve had in years. Moyes done more for FSA reputation with Sunderland fans than FSA did himself If he stayed longer then maybe it would be a lot different.
