Gouffran should be playing up front regardless of a Cisse injury or not. He's got the pace to play on the shoulder of defenders, he times his runs better than Cisse and he knows where the goal is.

To be fair the core of our team is the same as last year, they simply haven't performed for 90 minutes often enough this season. Add that to the fact the strengthening should have been done last summer, and Pardew struggling to outwit the opposition manager quite often this season we would do well to forget the campaign in a hurry.

After that Cisse miss I could actually see us losing the game, going by how our games have went this season.
