  1. Possibly thought the ball was an atomic bomb?
  2. Personally I think the two biggest problems with signing players is money and the lack of commitment to a transfer. Buying a player involves signalling your intent and making a player feel wanted by the club and selling the club's ambition and plan for the future. We couldn't be further from that if we tried, we go in half arsed with a reduced offer with fingers crossed the club might accept and we get the player on the cheap, there's no selling of the club's ambition, no appeal to the player and intent on how much they want them. When was the last time we actually BOUGHT a player from the premier league?
  3. Exactly, idiots on here want rid when he's the only fucker we've got who knows where the net is. Unbelievable.
  4. Absolutely no need for the size of that article to be fair, but he does have a good pedigree.
  5. In relative terms he is a fucking goal machine and we no-one else in the squad who scores anywhere near as regularly or on a consistent basis. Fucking idiots.
  6. It is simply fucking ridiculous if we do sell Cisse, fucking outrageous in fact.
  7. Surprised at that, I thought we were a more stable club.....
  8. Thauvin and Matip are the players we are trying to get over the line today, expect another load of random players tomorrow.

  10. Watched Mccullin last night, hard hitting, intense and for the most part really shocking. Brilliant watch, he's a character that governments would never allow to work in this day and age, I'd love to see some of his photos that he would have been prevented from printing over the years, or on the other hand maybe not.
  11. According to the Sunday papers: We are stalling on Charlie Austin as the club believes he wants to stay in London, if we wanted him that much we'd be down there convincing him to move north. The club is eyeing up an £8 million bid for Patrick Bamford and Mcclaren wants him, fuck off. Club is ready to sell Cisse to make way for Dost and Austin. The club is interested in Berahino but WBA want £30 million, I nearly spat my cup of tea out reading that.

  13. Considering we are seriously lacking in goals and have a shit selection of strikers at the club then selling our best goalscorer would be just as criminal as the shit show with Mbiwa and Santon last season. I'd sooner rather see the back of Riviere and others rather than Cisse. He fucked his season up with the Evans incident but he will get goals with a decent run in the team, his record speaks for itself. There's definitely a couple of seasons left in him for me.
  14. Strange move for Gignac? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/18/marseille-andre-pierre-gignac-signs-uanl-tigres-mexico
  15. U21's carrying on the national team tradition of bottling it in a big tournament.

  17. Gun for a birthday present, fuck sake I got a gift voucher for Eldon Square. http://edition.cnn.com/2015/06/18/us/charleston-south-carolina-shooting/
  18. The scripted format is shit, the show has slowly got worse over the years, the only thing that kept it together was the fact everything else on the BBC is absolutely woeful and the show brought a bit of welcome relief from all the other atrocities the BBC screens. Also like him or loathe him Clarkson brought a bit of charisma, without that the show will be fucking pointless as whoever joins the show will be a pale imitation.
  19. Finally got round to watching Lilyhammer, worth the wait. Van Zandt is superb.
