At no point in today's game did we have a decent spell of possession, we never got on the ball and made things happen. I can't remember one good attack in the game? Just rolled over and got their bellies tickled.

He needs to grow some balls and go with two wingers and two up front. Mitrovic man! Like a caged animal, needs to start the game next week. We needed that bite from the start today.

This is even more annoying than the Pardew era as they genuinely had a good chance to shore up the core of the team with money available and they haven't.

Tough game this, they play good football and Ayew is a big threat. Hopefully the defence feel more confident and we can be more solid this week. There's no doubt we will cause them problems with the pace in the team and we can knock it about like we did for long spells against Southampton.
