  1. The Ashley Out drum should have still been beating this season, that interview he did was a knee jerk reaction to the possibility of relegation again. A smokescreen if you will. The club will never progress with his cronies at the helm, the club needs football people running it. Nothing seems professional at any level of the club, from the boardroom to the dressing room. There is no PR, there is no ambition and there is zero quality on the pitch. For me this is the lowest ebb they've had, even worse than the relegation season. At least there were characters in that dressing room and quality in the squad to bounce back, there is none of that with this group of players. I had faith in Hughton also, McClaren fills me with dread.

  3. This government denounces terrorism yet sees Saudi as a good friend and sells them arms. Double standards. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/yemen-crisis-sanaa-resident-describes-saudi-led-bombing-as-like-being-at-the-centre-of-an-earthquake-a6755396.html
  4. The Poeticast is back this week and is proud to present Yuka to the podcast with a Guest Mix of seismic proportions. Yuka is a female DJ now based in Moscow (where she has lived since 1998), but who began her career in distant Bratsk, Siberia. The town - a local industrial center - is probably more famous for what it dumps than what it makes; in the recent past it was listed as one of the thirty most polluted cities in the world. It wouldn't take much persuasion for someone to move on... Yuka's preparation for a shift to the capital's nightclubs was lengthy, however, since music had played an important role in her life since the age of 6. Over time, her passions moved in the direction of painting, sculpture, and design - activities she continues to this day. That initial school-day enthusiasm at the piano would eventually win out, though, and dictate her choice of higher education. Her musical training thus led to a degree from the Irkutsk Arts Institute, where she no doubt studied under her real name, Irina Solbutova. Now that she's fully ensconced in Moscow, her music appears regularly through the outlets of three labels: Fullpanda, Pro-Tez. That latter orgniation has also created a series of podcasts in her name for free downloading. The opening broadcast came with a small text that moves swiftly from imaginative fancy to absolute fantasy. In English it reads as follows: "All musicians can be compared to bird-catchers, especially those hunters who'd go looking for songbirds. Some of them would search for a particular type: a nightingale or a lark, perhaps. Others, conversely, would hunt nothing but exotic birds. Once they were caught, the birds would be kept in cages made from sheet music or boxes cut from concert programmes." This tendency towards the ornate and magical is a marked facet of her work. When it come to drinks, however, she's a little more straightforward. 5. Anyone but them. Even drafting youth players in, they'd have more commitment than that lot of heartless cunts.
  6. When was the last time we had a decent defensive set up? The problem hasn't been rectified for years. There is a lack of leadership in the middle of the park, both in midfield and defence. The core of the team is non-existent, I said in the summer selling Abeid was a big mistake. He would have been a linchpin in the middle protecting the defence. Now we have the two lightweights Colback and Anita, who command about as much respect in there as Katie Hopkins in a university lecture.
  7. The first two goals were definitely Colo's fault, he should have headed the first out of play, and the second god only knows what he was doing with that clearance.
  8. I doubt there's a worse defence in the league. No leadership, no commitment to win the ball. They all just pass their man on expecting someone else to challenge for the ball. Dummett = Awful Colo = Finished Janmatt = Couldn't give a fuck Mbemba = Looks completely lost
  9. I've turned it off. It will be 5 or 6 now, they are absolutely shite at the back.
  10. Playing Anita again, how can he not see he offers absolutely nothing?

  12. The service pisses all over any other firm I've used, the old taxi system is pre-historic and is on it's way out. It is getting left behind, as are it's bitter, obtuse drivers.
  13. The smoothness of the service is class IMO, you can virtually guarantee they will be there in no more than 5 minutes. No fucking about with money, and no unnecessary tips. I must have give thousands away over the years for nothing, none of that now.
  14. The drivers couldn't be happier, best company they've worked for all have said. I obviously can't comment on pay but what he did say the system in which they are paid is excellent.
  15. £6 round trip to town last night, superb!
  16. Readers Wives for what it's worth.
