  1. There were a few last round, saying this is an all premier league affair there's a good chance there will be.
  2. I'm starting the next match thread as Haydnator is a jinx. I'm going for a shock 0-2 win.
  3. We need more goal scoring options, Remy would add that. Sentimentality and bitterness in football gets you nowhere, it's all about getting results. I'd happily take the mercenary cunt if he scores the goals to keep us up.
  4. Has anyone got Steve McClaren's email address?
  5. The build up play has been excellent, it's when they reach the box when it falls apart. Desperately need a goal scorer in the transfer window.
  6. You could see what would happen, the finishing has been fucking terrible all season. You can't miss that many good chances against a top side without paying for it.
  7. I was at the game a couple of seasons ago where we crumbled and conceded 7. That team had more fight than this lot, so fuck knows what will happen this time.
  8. McClaren's negative tactics will see Arsenal with the majority of possession, they have the players to pick us off and they will. No less than 4 goals conceded here, as much as it pains me to say it. McClaren will never change the way he sets the team out, he is as deluded as Pardew when it comes to match analysis.
  9. They were planning on a charity match next summer with the players from "The Entertainers" team before this tragedy occurred. I'm sure that will still go ahead but as a Pav Remembrance Day aswell.
  10. That's a great photo mate. He was an absolute gent and genuinely loved the club and fans.
  11. Just heard the news that he has died. Absolutely sickening, no age at all and he was in good health. RIP Pav.
  12. Other teams picking up wins around us, we could start getting cut adrift very soon.
  13. Outplayed for large spells by a fucking shit and out of form West Brom team. They've barely touched the ball second half.
  14. The match could have went either way in the end. Both teams had good chances to win it in the second half, both keepers played their part (Elliott let himself down with that punch though). First half we were played off the park for most of it, McClaren is very similar in strategy to Pardew in that he is happy to sit back and let the opposition dictate the game. It nullifies our threat and wastes the abilities of certain players. They've proved how dangerous they can be when the team is going forward, God only knows how McClaren can't see it. For the second week running we missed a sitter with a header from 6 yards, they need to start working on them in training.
  15. It has always been like this mate, since the Dawn of time. Perfect example is the "Garden Bridge", the more I've read about it, the more ridiculous the story becomes. 10's of millions of the public's money down the drain, because it is in Landan.
  16. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/five-of-worlds-biggest-investment-banks-pay-no-uk-corporation-tax-a6783716.html No surprise really, the government has done fuck all to clamp down on it. But austerity was essential.
  17. Watched 4 in 24 hours! The Revenant by far the best, maybe it's finally time for Di Caprio at the oscars.
  18. An old but good article that sums it up well. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/11335990/Alan-Pardew-cannot-rewrite-history-he-only-has-himself-to-blame-for-Newcastle-abuse.html
  19. He banged himself down with his turgid tactics and negative football. Pards is a big fan of re-writing history.
