    This is correct, the manner in which it was conducted was disgraceful. But then again Shepherd always was morally redundant. If it was done properly the club could have moved forward, Robson had built a quality young squad capable of pushing the top 4 for a good few years. Instead it turned into right mess through poor handling of the situation.

    We've struggled for years at the back now and it doesn't look like improving any time soon. I thought that was Rafa's chosen area? I suppose they'll be OK in the Championship like, says a lot that the fans of the worst defence in the league last season are happy to see a player go.

    Definitely a sign they expect to sell Sissoko. Thing is, they are similar players but Diame gets more goals than Sissoko.
