  4. Fist Of Fury, I forgot how hard Bruce Lee was. Unreal.
  5. Fucking hell, Leicester haven't scored a league goal in 2017
  6. Well Tokyo Drifter was class, Tetsu The Phoenix is some boy.
  7. The facade that is the "Olympic legacy" strikes again. For me the amount spent on the Olympics is just ridiculous, a colossal waste. Especially in poor countries with no solid infrastructure. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/gallery/2017/feb/10/rios-olympic-venues-six-months-on-in-pictures
  8. Cheers. I'll scout them out. I'm going to watch "Tokyo Drifter" this afternoon.
  9. Are there any other Yakuza films that you recommend? Spotted one called Fireworks, they all seem to have Takeshi Kitano in them
  10. Like a scene from "The thick of it"
  11. She can't even answer the right question.
  12. The unwashed have appeared from under their caves after one result, giving it the the big one again. Fickle fucking tramps
  13. Hunter Gatherer, well paced and the subtle humour appealed to me. A decent indie film. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, I'm a fan of Anderson and a massive Bill Murray fan but this bored me to tears in the end. Some funny dialogue, pllenty of colour and a great soundtrack but he's made a lot better films.

  15. One of the most confused fuckers around, his venture into changing the world was an absolute joke.
  16. Finally watched Hacksaw Ridge, Desmond Doss is clearly a hero and his story deserves to be told but it just felt like Gibson took parts of Saving Private Ryan and Full Metal Jacket and created another film with them. Nothing new. War is fucking awful though.
  17. Elected career politicians are where the failings begin, but I can't see the system changing anytime soon.
  18. You're correct on that score, my lass deals with the council on a daily basis and is constantly encountering people that have no clue what they are actually doing. The biggest problems she has faced have involved Nick Forbes, which says a lot really.
  19. An interesting read, explains the random brutalism around the city centre. Also, I still believe there's corruption within the Labour council. Why else would they be signing off so much student accommodation in the city centre? https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2017/feb/07/brave-new-world-newcastle-dream-for-vertical-city
