The country was completely fucked and for the younger generation the future looked pretty fucking grim, hence the backlash and the Punk movement. Acid House was similar in the fact the 80's was fucking grim for the working classes aswell (There's a pattern emerging here is there not?), the introduction of Ecstasy was an escape for the younger generation from the bleak outlook. To be fair the majority of the greatest music ever written was made in adversity or after tragedy.

Neoliberalism is about to pull off its greatest con. On Brexit day the UK falls out of the WTO's Global Procurement Agreement, negotiated on our behalf by the EU. The GPA provides that public services must be open to competition from overseas corporations, except it contains an exemption for the NHS. Trump has just nixed the UK's proposal to re-enter the GPA on its existing terms.

A win won't just bring 3 points, it'll bring a total change of mood around the team and the fans. Like we seen last year these are confidence players, being in OCTOBER without a win must have morale pretty low (As much as we are told it isn't). It is a must win for me.
