  1. See, I liked the realism of that scene. That's how people talk and act when they're full of rage. For an example of a shit scene, look at the first episode of Milky and Woody on the hospital roof. ya 100%
  2. ManUtd(a), Inter(h), Barca(a), Lyon(h) Tottenham(h) - 27/1
  3. I'm not too worried about City... They're the new Middlesborough.. Do alright against the top 4 then do rubbish against the rest of the league.. Not a bit organised either.. DeJong could be trouble for Barton is all.. Poor auld Joey eh?
  4. For something to watch for nothing every week... I thought i was being spoilt.. Was no Trainspotting now!!
  5. I thought 1-4 of this was brilliant. Watched last night's too.. The final episode.. Everything has to kind of come full circle at the end & all, that's unfortunately the way it goes. But i thought it ended really well. Yer man packin his bags in the house... Most nervewreckin scene i've seen since 'Rope'...
  6. completely agree Ya, thank god someone else said it too.. More shocking than seeing Stoke win it was seeing Tiote being subbed.. He was deadly..
  7. Ya, i'd agree.. Athletically, he's not at premier league standard..
  8. Based on something that actually happened, that.. A favourite of mine definitely..
  9. The Town.. Cops and Robbers thing.. Characters gritty and real enough i suppose.. Wears a little thin towards the end though.. Nothing different with this story, just decent characters tho.. Enjoyable enough all the same...
  10. Routledge was the worst of the 3.... Awful lot of red around the box from him there. Ya, fair enough.. Ben Arfa had a good cross to Routledge actually.. Didn't really get in those positions too often tho. If i'm to push a plea for Routledge tho, i'd say he hadn't the same support in Enrique, that Ben Arfa had. Ben Arfa kept drifting in, Enrique gets the ball, and Ben Arfa isn't there in time to take advantage of the space... I think Gutierrez and Enrique are much more effective on that wing.. Ben Arfa should be grand.. Not yet though. Drop Nolan for a game.. Based on that game i'd have Tiote and Barton in midfield alone.. I don't they need any more support now.. Tiote's brilliant. Nolan's just dragging more defence near midfield having him around..
  11. My head was in my hand's when perch scored... "You wally" i was thinking... Thought he had a pretty good game up to that point.. He's box to box as a full back.. Tiote was my man of the match.. Nolan's good positionally but even when he gets the ball in a decent area he hasn't the pace to use it.. Looking back on the game, Ameobi could have been much more effective.. Nolan as club captain could play as a hex on all this now... By the way, as excited as i was every time Ben Arfa got the ball, in the end he did nothing.. First decent cross all day was when Gutierrez came on..
  12. ya he might have a broken ego..
  13. Braggin rights this week are unbelievable...! Two away wins!! The unity in this team is ------...i don't know.. Its something else.. So far i mean..
  14. I was about to write just "I actually trust him to get a good striker now given he got these two" but then i there's Leon Best & Pancrate as a reminder.. Different times/circumstances, limited budget tho isn't it..
  15. Need to hook him up with a nice young Newcastle lass now to keep him grounded here...
  16. Shearer's knowledge of Ben Arfa... funny/harsh go at Shearer, but true.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...paid-child.html
  17. Do the Bolton fans like him? What's the limerick they're on about on NUFC.com?
  18. Just watched the match here on the late showing. That Fellaini is the BIGGEST nuisance! He wrecks my head.. Tiote was class! Am nearly as chuffed he's there as Ben Arfa, because he'll probably as effective at his position as Ben Arfa will be at his.. That Carroll tackle on Osman got me going tho! Savage stuff!! Enrique seemed to be a mix of Gutierrez and himself! Ben Arfa looks more keen to drift inside. Will probably take a cup match to see Nolan dropped and seeing Ben Arfa, Rout & Gut in front of Barton & Tiote.. Still i think Nolan is unbelievably good position-wise.. He gets in some amount of threatening areas.. Not everyone can read the play like that. Looking forward to stuffing it in the face of the workies on Monday morning!! Great Day!
  19. I'm a computer. You're talking to a computer..
  20. What, against Stoke? Its City isn't it? Yes, it's a city Agh, i knew it. We're not playing Stoke for a while i thought..
  21. What, against Stoke? Its City isn't it?
  22. Ah, just a random thought really, but its going to be a funny (maybe ironic even?) for Harper to be starting and Shay on the bench..
  23. And since when has Smith become a successful Defensive Midfielder.. Its not even his natural position.
  24. I don't see how at Newcastle, it's seen as fixed formation. How come Man Utd can use a rotation system, without any hassle? If that pleb Nolan can't get dropped, it has to fall on Hughton.. Everyone should know their place. Even feckin Scholes knows when he's beat. If they keep rotating, no one will say a thing if they get their game here & there. Only players that should be kept in game to game are the box to box players in the middle of the pitch. And that's only Barton. Smith can park it..
