How about putting Santon at LM/LW and moving Gutti in the middle as a ballplaying DM? Train Mbiwa at Lb ( he did look pretty good there last season), or just buy someone. Anyway, Gutti seems like he's lost a step and, IMO need someone else out wide on the left that can create legitimate chances and score. I would also like to see Ben Arfa in the middle as an ACM, and find someone out wide right of course. But I'm not the director or manager, so whatever!

Great post McFaul. This is how I've felt since the very beginning as well and I've never been one to mince words about those two.

I was talking about the game in general, in reaction to your statements about how the "over-the-top" reactors must have not seen what you did, which was a NUFC that "didn't play that bad".

If this were a "one off", as you said in a previous post, I would agree with you. But this is what we've seen last year and in preseason thus far. But unfortunately, those of us who have watched most of the games the past few seasons know it is the norm.
