Manchester City v Newcastle United 3/10/15 15:00 ko
LooneyToony replied to Haydnator's topic in Newcastle Forum
I know I know...here I go bashing Colocini again, but it is deserved. Just watch the 2nd, third, and fourth goal and you will see how he has completely lost the plot. 2nd goal he let Aguero walk into the box and do nothing, like he does too many times. 3rd goal he then decides to rush up field where the pass is GOING and leaves a humongous hole where he just left. 4rth goal the ball is in the right corner being marked and with Anita helping out, yet he inexplicably decides to leave his position and go there as well, the ball was delivered into the middle where, of course, only Mbemba is left by his lonesome. I didn't even bother to look at goals 5 and 6. I am pissed. -

I've got a positive. If all the scores hold as they are, we will be bottom of the league for at least two weeks. -

Oh our back four defensively. Such a work of art. -

Gemmill and CT jinxed the team for the season. -
If you say he had only 5 assists that's fine with me. All I remember was him spearheading the attack most of the time and putting defenses on the back foot, creating havoc. I can't believe there are so many on here who are now downplaying his contribution here. Remember people he came to us the year of PROMOTION!
-
Shirley you jest. Do you not remember the year we finished 5th? That year is easily summed up this way: Demba Ba scores like an alien during the 1st half of the season. Second half of the season Cisse has an out of body experience and scores for fun. And during it all Ben Arfa was magical. Creating for himself and others.

Why don't they send Marveaux and Obertan off on loan instead. -
Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

I miss Pardew's half time talks and how the team used to come out like a bunch of hungry lions. Remember those days?- 10610 replies

Newcastle Utd V Watford / 3pm KO // SJP
LooneyToony replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
May I ask when will be a good time to finally cut ties with Fabricio Colocini? I would confidently say he is currently the worst defender in the Premiership. -

Would anyone here happen to be a good defensive coach? Even at the youth level? Your services are needed at ST. James' Park. Tyia. -
West Ham United v Newcastle United 14/9/15 20:00 KO (On Sky)

I beg to differ. Leave Mbemba at the back all by himself. Trust me on this one. -

We need to find someone else at LB. Haidara is a build-up killer. It usually finishes with him one way or another. -

Not exactly going to boss the midfield with those two, eh? -
Newcastle United V Arsenal // St James Park // 12.45 KO
LooneyToony replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Throw this game out the window, but my impressions so far is that they haven't gotten Goerginio involved in the game more thus far in the season, And I blame that entirely on Anita and Colback the two deep mids. They have to find him more and quicker. And about Haidara...I love him on the defensive side, but he is quickly becoming a build-up destroyer. Too many times already good build up play has ended at his feet. He needs to either get the ball in the box quicker, or lay it off to one of his mates. Too much dilly dallying about trying to beat his marker and losing the ball. It's still to early to tell if we will be able to create enough chances to score enough this season. We do have a tough start to the schedule no doubt about that. -

Great game by Colo today. The best he has played in three years. We still need better players at the back though. -
If he is a winger I don't see how this shores up the middle if that what SM has in mind and has been reported by most papers. Are they moving Sissoko to the middle for Anita? Why don't they get an athletic proven CB and stick Colo right in the middle as an anchor in the midfield? I would have liked for them to try that years ago.

Given all that, I'd have him back in a New York minute to bide some time until we can rebuild our squad again. Hahahaha...I just read that I wrote "until we can rebuild our squad again". Implying that Fat Mike would do such a thing.

Hehe...Jason de Vos just ripping on Colocini here on Canadian TV. Eh, De Vos was no Paolo Maldini but he was mint in the air and captained a few teams himself.
-
That's 3 out of 4 goals against in the air. Eh, but who's keeping count?

They're drunk. Next time stay in bed.
