  1. Agreed, Flanagan wasn't good at all today.
  2. Liverpool fans give their new players a lot more time and patience than most other fans, don't judge every player on those bought by a shite manager(Hodgson)and a CE (Purslow) who wanted to play Championship Manager. Last summer, we sacked a manger that the majority of fans wanted to stay, and were given a manager who wouldn't know what winning a major trophy was, wasn't wanted, and who thinks the best players have no flair and are in their 30's. Enrique played well today especially considering he'd only had one training session with the squad. Slotted in well and was solid. A very good debut. Enrique debut Literally nobody cares. So that's why you replied.

  4. Do you not understand the meaning of irony you absolute fuckwit. As for the rest of it made up heresay, you don't know anything about football shown by the fact you can't even spell your own players names correctly. You are like one of those annoying Yorkshire Terriers which won't leave you alone and keeps humping away at ya leg. Bigger and better prospects are CL football, you won't have that for many years. I'll bet you £100 now you won't have it in the next 2 seasons, although as with most people from your area your lack of honour would mean I'll not get paid anyway. I do understand irony very well, this remark from you of all people shows irony in all of it's glory "made up heresay" Maybe you should consult wiki (always makes me laugh that you actually quote from it) on how to connect opposites by using context. An American civil rights leader and EDL have no connection, whereas the KKK would have, but I suppose in your tiny twisted mind it sounded good. Bigger and better prospects are anything that is better than your present situation. Liverpool, as a club, have the history, the success, the glory, the global branding and the money to attract most players, and as Enrique said 'despite other offers he always only wanted to go to Liverpool' As your opinions don't usually have any credibility I'll look forward to CL football once again next season. I'm very choosey who I bet with and I wouldn't trust you on any level at all, you're too much of a lying gobshite with, I imagine, a mouth as big as the Mersey Tunnel, but with much less trust. I will however pledge £50 quid to the Bobby Robson fund and £50 quid to the Hillsborough support group. A nob like you talking about honour is another delicious piece of irony. Yes the meaning was it would be HIGHLY unlikely a black leader would be welcome at an EDL meeting incredible we have thick people like you in 2011. He always wanted to go to Liverpool hahaha, do you not think for one minute that all footballers have cliches they trot out at each club they go to. Sign for Liverpool "great history, always supported them, got a HITACHI Liverpool shirt when I was 3 even though my country was in civil war at the time". Man Utd "wanna play for the biggest club in England and win the CL", Newcastle "heard the fans are the best in England, this is a big club etc bollocks", Sunderland "I remember Steve Bruce as a player" etc... Right £50 bet I'll agree to it, £50 to the Hillsborough Support Group which I won't need to pay, and you pay SBR Foundation. In fact I'll give you £25 if you come 5th even, you're coming 6th again unless Everton get off to a good start for a change. I had no problem understanding what you were trying to say, but couldn't understand why you'd use an American black leader instead of an English one thickhead. I know it's what all footballers say but you seem to pick and choose quotes that fit your agenda so knew you'd appreciate the validity of Enrique's quote. Should have realised it's only when the quotes suit you, and if they don't you change them or make up new ones. Is Barton not with his Scouse missus now? I neither need, want or would take anything for free from a gobshite, use it as a deposit on a decent encyclopedia.

  6. Is Barton not with Georgia McNeil anymore?
  7. Konchesky was left a quivering mess due to the persecution he received there, and he's not as bad as you make out. Funny Poulsen (you can't even spell one of your own players names nobhead) was a very good player at Juventus, and also for Denmark, if they don't like you at Anfield you might as well be Martin Luther King at an EDL march. "Kenny" picked the team up yes, but you're forgetting we lost our best player, and suffered more turmoil off the pitch by sacking our manager again and as a result the patchy form that followed, not to mention injuries. You last sentence, total bollocks and to be fair a lot of your fans freely admit it, his press conference I think he mentioned Liverpool once. It's quite clear what happened in that transfer only an idiot would fail to see it. Complete and utter nonsense as usual. Konchesky is worse than I make out and Poulsen (that ok for you? I usually just refer to him as that dope) was a bench warmer for much of his time at Juve. If a player or manager isn’t liked anywhere they are made to know it. To end up a quivering wreck says more about the lack of character in the player and he really should never have become a footballer if what you say is true. (That would be a novelty) Why the fuck would you use Martin Luther King and the EDL in the same sentence? Did you just want to use his name to show you knew who he was? That would be fairly typical of you, but think on next time, it might sound better if you used the KKK in reference to MLK. We sacked a manager too and had our share of injuries, we also lost our best striker. Our problem from August to January was the manager we had, no more needs to be said for me. You obviously didn’t meet those Liverpool fans here in Liverpool, because even though we knew he had been happy at his ‘hometown’ club he made it very clear that he was made up to have made the move and to be here. If anything, since then, he looks even happier to be here, but delude yourself all you want, it’s what most fans do, instead of looking at these people who in reality are just doing a job they happen to love, and when better and bigger prospects come along 99% of footballers jump at them.
  8. Even rapey knows that the only thing that can make his reputation go any lower, is playing James Perch. Perch literally and seriously could be the difference between 0 points and 3. Fuck Enrique, most boring transfer saga in the clubs history. "I only go to Champion League clooob jajajaja" fuckin mercenary cunt, and he ends up somewhere who will come 5th IF Tottenham and Arsenal have spectacularly bad seasons. Bitter? Very. NUFC has been a shambles for most of the time Jose’s been here. Taylor and Harper are probably the only first team players on our books that wouldn’t jump at a move to a club with real ambition and a professional approach. We were loyal to him when he was shit, where is his loyalty. Now this is open to debate, but as far as I'm concerned coming 5th is coming no where in this league, Europa League is shite, and in my view Liverpool won't come higher than that, their best player is getting no younger, and who else do they have that is absolute top drawer? Suarez possibly, they don't have what Tottenham have even in my view, he categorically said he'd leave for a CL club, they're not even in the fuckin Europa League let alone CL. It's been dragging on for 9 months making us look like cunts, well he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned, I hope he does shite, and I hope he returns to the form he showed here under Sam Allardyce. They're an unforgiving crowd at Anfield too, first sign of a few bad games they'll give him the old Konchesky treatment and his mother will be abusing scousers on facebook and twitter. Pleased it's all over and he'll get a shit reception of me as opposed to Carroll who I have nothing against. You're the biggest gobshite on this forum by a long way. Konchesky was never, nor ever would be, a Liverpool player. He wasn’t wanted at any time by the fans because we already knew before he came that he was a load of shite. He was brought in by that stupid old owl to be his eyes in the dressing room. We didn’t turn on him, we were never for him. New players here get more of a chance than I’ve seen at most clubs, although, like ALL fuckin clubs, we have our knobheads who kneejerk at the slightest bad pass. When we signed Crouch the world and his wife were slagging us, him, and the management, as week after week he failed to score. Fans know, before, and better, than any other clubs fans and the media, whether a player is worth having or not, which is why we, and we alone, stuck by him. He made a difference to the team from day one even though he didn’t score, all the rest of you saw was that he didn’t score. As for Enrique, personally if I thought we could have had a shot at getting Baines I’d have broken the bank for him, far better player, imo. I’m happy to have Enrique though, if he plays as well for us as he did for you then he’ll be doing great. As for your Europe jibe, c’mon ffs, we’ve been out of Europe only 7 times in the last 50 or so years, 6 of those through banning, I’m sure he sees himself as having a better chance here than at Newcastle, unfortunately for you. It’s top 4 for us this year, I’m sure of it. Probably at the expense of Arsenal the way things are looking at the moment. Spurs aren’t looking that good to me, plus they’ve got all that Europa shite, which we haven’t. BTW, Every time I read anything with Carroll he always goes on about how glad he is to be here, loves it by all accounts. Never stops smiling. The feeling is mutual. Easily one of the biggest tools I've seen on tinterweb. Kinchesky wasn't good enough so you persecute him game after game, even we give Perch a chance, poor Paul's mother had to resort to abusing Merseysiders on Twitter, because of the shocking abuse he was receiving. See Alan Smith hes one of the worst players we've ever had I dont thnk I've heard the crowd victimise him, its not Konchesky's fault he's shite, just a shame his goal in 2006 didn't prove to be the winner imo. As for us being worse than you on paper in December well I beg to differ. Enrique, Coloccini, Tiote, Barton, Nolan and Carroll would've walked in to your team, not to mention HBA if he was fit. Carroll was born and raised in Gateshead, its nee wonder he feels so at home there, but we all know where he'd rather be imo. You have no idea what you’re talking about, as per. Konchesky was a shite player but received no more abuse at Anfield than any other team’s worst player, I was there, you weren’t and he certainly wasn’t victimized, get a grip dickhead. The abuse, as you call it, was on internet forums where fans said exactly what they thought of him and the idiot who bought him. That his Mother took up his cause on fb just showed him up for the mummy’s boy he is. Konchesky and Poulson are the worst players I’ve ever seen in red shirts and it was a blessing all round that he was got rid of as soon as possible. Back in December we had a manager who only knows how to play well drilled football and he has the worst tactics ever. No matter which players he’d have had in his team, they’d have looked awful. He brought the worst football seen at Anfield in 60 years and the worst set of results since we last got relegated. With only Torres out and Suarez in (Carroll injured) Kenny got the team up the table and they looked like the decent set of players they actually were. The fact that we finished 12 points ahead of you in what was a very bad season for us makes nonsense of your players who’d walk in to our team, none of them would have looked good under Hodgson. You can have all the opinions you want but if Carroll had wanted to be at Newcastle still he would’ve been, simple as.
  9. I think Rapey struggles with percentages. Howmanheyman: "Pardew talks shite......100%" I thought it was 3-4 weeks at the time of injury. This day just gets better and better. I'm still at a loss as to how we could sell our only LB without getting a replacement in. We don't owe Liverpool anything, we can make them wait and if Enrique got injured on Saturday then too bad. It was. I'm probably way off the mark but I honestly believe Ben Arfa's crocked for the duration of his career. One 50/50 away from injury at any time. He'll always be like this. I'd prefer the manager of my football club to tell the truth initially and be pissed off rather than feed us lip-service then back track and apologise when the inevitable lie is uncovered. As a manager, Pardew must think himself incapable of achieving anything. We were class under Keegan and Sir Bobby. Were the 2 teams great? IMO, No. But the manager knew about the size of the club and that passion and belief filtered down to the players who believed they were better than others. Pardew's got these lot in a state of 'happy to be also rans'. He, Ashley and Llambias are a disgrace to this fine football club. It's a shame Pardew couldn't be a man and stand up. Completely agree. When he took over we had a solid side playing for each other and the spirit was good, we had a lad who took the number 9 shirt and thrived on it, he had service and help from players like Barton and Nolan and did our new Chancer of a manager think about shooting for the stars and pushing for Europe? Did her fuck! He's been bleating about safety from day one, it never once crossed his mind to push on. He's been singing from the AshLlamb hymn sheet from the minute he got here. When Pardew took over we had a better side than Liverpool - now we are nowhere near them. You never had a better side than Liverpool imo. Liverpool went through what you're going through now, 4 windows of net profit, each window reducing the quality of the squad, selling good players and replacing them with frees and low priced players. That's why this window, and the January one, have been such big spending windows, we needed to spend big to get back to where we were in 2008/9. I wouldn't wish bad owners on any club, I'd like it all to be a level playing field and hopefully, if they can get the new financial rules off the ground, we can all get back to competing fairly.

  11. Why do you feel the need to continually make things up, lie or just adjust the facts to suit your own agenda? I must be about 15 years older than you and meff was around when I was a kid to describe meths drinkers. Why anyone would want to take pride of origin in some silly word is beyond me. I imagine all cities have their own words, phrases etc.. completely unique to that city, some travel well, some don't. There are many Scouse words that I see repeated on tele from people in other areas, sometimes it sounds a bit odd but there you go, it's the way of things. Innit and thang, horrible words. Final result - even used by the BBC. A result is final ffs. You're such a mug, meff has nothing to do with meths drinkers you absolute tool. Unbelievable. What you on about final result, have you never heard Ray Winston "the arf taa-aam resawwwt" I told you the original meaning of the Scouse word meff, now you can toss that round any way you like, it evolved in to a general word of abuse. There's only one mug round here, the unfortunate thing is you don't recognise yourself as it. It should be half time score and I have ne desire or need to listen to Ray Winston say anything.

  13. Happy to oblige. Oh the irony of a Newcastle person using the dole as a jibe. Still, if it eases your own feelings of insecurity........ cheer up, you won Capital of Culture! It ain't me that needs cheering up, and we were worthy winners, a great year was had by all. Aye it was probably the Scouse Internationally acclaimed bin dipping expertise that won it for you. Cunt. They won it because they needed it so so badly. Our city is complete, would be hard to improve the city centre, where with Liverpool, Jesus himself would've had a good 20 year job on to sort things oot owa there. You're still the biggest laugh provider on here I see. Every one who entered into it needed/wanted it badly. We won it because we had the best entry, simple as. That doesn't mean it was the best city out of all those entered (although in my opinion it was/is) but we have a lot to offer any visitor and they came in their millions. Through the interest in Liverpool of the Duke of Westminster his Liverpool One project has not only added a superb new shopping and leisure facility to Liverpool (now number 5 in the rankings), it has joined the city centre to the waterfront in such an attractive way that other developers have added to it even more. With the opening last week of the new Museum of Liverpool, the largest newly-built national museum in the UK for over a hundred years, the whole area has become a destination in it's own right. There's many a city in this country would give their eye teeth for a waterfront like ours. It's now part of the city centre more than it ever has been and I've not seen many a better city centre outside of London, it's all down to opinion though. "Researchers also found the increased number of visits to Liverpool had a significant impact on the region as a whole; there were 9.7 million additional visits specially influenced by Capital of Culture, generating a direct spend of £753.8 million across the North West in 2008 alone." Shame you're not you boring scouse cunt. Oh dear. You could live till you're 90 and still not give what I consider to be a valid reason for putting some dour Australian bloke up on our screens discussing training methods. Why not just say that in the first place then gobshite? Thanks for the platform to extol the virtues of my hometown anyway though.

  18. Sorry, I have no idea why you would care about our training ground at all, I didn't suggest you would/could. Lots of fans keep an interest in their ex players but obviously you're not one of them. There are a few men who've improved our training ground this summer, Mike Ashley certainly isn't one of them. couldn't give a shit about his training to be honest. He's at a new club and good luck to him. I hope he doesn't succeed with you lot, because I find your fans to be amongst the least amiable characters in football, but I hope he's outstanding for England, and dominant for whomever he moves onto next (as long as it's not the mackems). Not bitter about his move, just think you lot are beyond contempt. There are many contemptible things about football and it's fans, but thanks, I'd rather be a red and contemptible than a fan of any other club, many of whose fans I just find plain old gobshites.
  19. Sorry, I have no idea why you would care about our training ground at all, I didn't suggest you would/could. 20. For those of you who don't hate Andy Carroll, thought this interview with our head of fitness and conditioning coach might be of interest. Andy is spoken of near the beginning so you won't have to watch it all. Inside look at LFC's training
  21. Now if this proves to be the case, I still expect Enrique to be off. To be honest I'd be happy for him to join a foreign team or even Arsenal. Just not that lot. I think for 'that lot' Enrique is too young for the FSG criteria. They have said all along that they wanted to buy young players, preferably British, but only in positions that we haven't got good youngsters coming through. In LB position we have Agger, Aurelio, Insua and Robinson. Agger is great but injury prone, and Aurelio is a top class player but made of glass. Aurelio was already released last summer, but Hodgson brought him back in and Agger will be sold if anyone comes in for him. This would leave Insua and Robinson, and if we keep both of those players I can only see a 26 or 27 yr old coming in, giving those two a year or two to mature. I'd be quite happy to see Insua as first choice LB, and Robinson as back up myself. As for buying more players, we have to sell before we buy any more, FSG don't have a problem with high fees but definitely do with high wages. Joe Cole and a few other high earners will have to go before we buy again this summer.
  22. Where you pulling this figure of £30m from? Wickham - £8m Dong Won - Less than £1m Larsson - Free Vaughan - Free Gardner - £5m Brown - £1m O'Shea - £5m Westwodd - Free £20m is a more realistic figure? Which is just the Henderson money re-invested, never mind the £24m we got for Bent in January. Although you can take £6m off that from the aquisition of Sessegnon. Just a small point but even a lot of the press are calling it an all round deal of 16 million now. 13 million fee and 3 million add ons.
  23. Depending which papers you read the fee was only 16 million and Comolli had this to say on the deal. Comolli said, “On the fee, I’ve read and heard a lot of things. There was a lot of speculation on how much we would pay for Jordan and none of the figures I’ve seen are correct so far. We’ve paid a price that we are comfortable with, otherwise we would not have done the deal.” Not that it matters if he does well. If he flops it's an expensive mistake whether it was 16 mill or 20. From what I can make out FSG want to bring the wage bill down. In their eyes we we have enough mature players on high wages, and they want to bring in youngsters with potential but lower wages. They're all about long term. We just have to get rid of Cole, Poulson, Konchesky, and Jovanovic. Wouldn't be surprised if we had to send them out on loan and pay half their wages.
  24. No we weren't getting, it happened on one occasion, yet again you lied. As already stated, our attendances are turnstile counted. Check through the coming season, the sold out signs will be up a few days after the tickets become available, and even then you have to be part of the members scheme. I know lads who've been on the season ticket waiting list for up to 10 years, they just don't become available. Now if that doesn't correspond with your hate Liverpool mindset, you're in for a lot of heartache now we have new owners who are willing to put profits back in so that we can compete. I know attendances are the highlight of your life, but it's getting too tedious now. Sorry for taking the thread off topic.
  25. I know you're right PA but this guy tells so many lies, and makes up stories, sometimes he has to be put straight. Coming from you. Ok then, show me one lie I have made on here, or the mods put "I AM A BINDIPPING CUNT" in size 7 letters in your signature. Deal? The mods can put anything they like in small or giant size letters, that kind of thing doesn't bother me at all. Can't be bothered going through all your ridiculous stories, but just a bit furthert up in this thread you said, "you were getting 34 and 35,000 under Hodgson" I can only find one league game that had 35,000. BTW, your pmsl must be a bit embarrassing for you after reading the link. So where is the lie? 70,000 on a waiting list since 1996, half them will be dead if the life expectancy figures on Merseyside are to be believed. As I said how can you justify the validity of 70000 on a waiting list when half your games aren't even sold out. Can't you read? You said "you were getting 34 to 35,000 under Hodgson" which was a lie. It's very, very rare for a league game not to be sold out and as I said, supposed 70,000. The figure is more likely to be half that but still makes your pmsl ridiculous.
