(I guess everyone else is aware) My mum had real back problems for years after slipping a disc but was constantly being referred around and getting palmed off to different consultants until they decided she needed surgery which seems to have done the trick. Hope you don't need surgery but it sounds a similar story

The way I've always been taught is that you maintain energy levels by having good defensive shape. If the balance of the side is right and you as an individual pick up your positioning early then you should rarely have to sprint when your team don't have the ball. Clearly it is a factor but it's is more of a product of defensive shape that you conserve energy, the system isn't really designed to conserve it in that sense.

I kind of agree but not in terms of the system. If they were better players I don't think that having three advanced midfielders and two deeper ones is overly attacking against a lot of teams. However it only works if you keep the ball on the deck and play, Marveaux and Gouffran aren't good enough to warrant that.
