I wish I had a stronger accent purely because whenever I tell anyone I'm from Newcastle I get, 'Really? You don't sound like it' followed by a routinely shite attempt at geordie. Not the biggest issue in the world but it annoys me.

He was a rugby player till he was 16. Very little natural technical ability other than being 6'8" and you can tell he's a heavily coached/ manufactured player when you watch him. Krul seems the opposite in that he's not as gifted an athlete but he's a much more gifted goalkeeper.

Pace isn't going to trouble anyone on English early summer decks though. I'd agree if we were in SA or AUS

I don't particularly rate Finn, he doesn't do a huge deal with it, he's not wheels at that level and he tends to be expensive. Slightly biased but I think Onions is better than both of them plus he's been tearing it up in the Championship.

Strike rate of 36. It's not a disservice to say it was slow, it was a necessary and good innings but undeniably slow.

It's slow even by test match standards and Chanderpaul's standards. Given the situation and the ability of those around him it was appropriate though.

Pissed it in the end. I think their bowlers are talented tbf, better than they've been for a while. Add Gayle, Sarwan and Narine and they could give us a few problems but there's too much politics involved in West Indies cricket. As you say it's a good warm up for SA which should be a very good series between the two best teams in the world.
