Newcastle v Chelsea Sat 3rd Dec, 12.45pm - Sold out!

Got to go with Santon and Raylor down the left surely. HBA won't offer the defensive cover Jonas does -
Watched the game on some euro channel, may of been Greek, I'd been drinking and forgot my specs so it could of been hieroglyphics as far as I knew. Epic defensive performance, Saylor and Colo were gargantuan at the back for us. Krul is the best keeper in the league on form by a country mile. We had a bit of luck but the good teams get that and I believe that's what we're on the verge of. Put Tiote back into that team and drop Raylor for Santon and I reckon we would of took the 3 today. Said to the lads at work 9/1 was a massive price for us to turn them over, 4/1 the draw was huge as well. Chelsea next week and I'm gutted if we don't pick up anything! Exciting times

Newcastle United vs Everton match thread

Taking my kid brother to the game, will be his first time at St James,. Really looking forward to this, atmosphere should be electric. 2-0 Ba and Obertan -
These are there for the taking, I always feel we'll really hump at least one team a season by 4 or 5 and this could be the game. Confidence must be sky high in the squad and Wigan look bloody awful from what I've seen.

20 double on Udinese and Maribor pays £144 with Coral. Going to have a go at that
-
Just back from the game and we played really well against an awful Blackburn team, they really are Relegation fodder. Tiote was a man mountain in midfield for us, the two centre backs played well, Colo is a touch of class. Really should of battered Blackburn by more, but the performance was there. I only noticed Yakubu was playing when he got subbed. Salgado and Givet are shite.

Going to this, first game in a few years as I've managed to wangle a rare weekend off work. Looking forward to seeing the French lads play. Should be too strong for Blackburn, even though our home record has been shocking against them recently. 3-1 win for us. Best brace and a Ben Arfa belter

Living just outside the shithole that is Middlesbrough, always heard tales about Downing and Woodgate being partial to a few lines on a night out in Yarm. A mate of mine swears blind he got off his nut with Woodgate around the time he was seeing that bint off Big Brother

Best has done okay for us since hes been here, I really can't dispute his work rate. But the amount of chances he spurned against Scunny in the cup was dreadful. I played Northern league level a few years in my youth and I'd of put away most of those chances that he was gifted. He was caught offside way to many times for a top level striker during that game. Saying that his goalscoring record for us must look nice, can't of played that many full games surely

Craig David's Fisher Price phone just got a text saying that the Ridgewell and Ruiz deals are dead in the water. Well I'm shocked, or not. Fuck sake. Club run by monkeys, and thats being unkind to monkeys
-
Go get Bendtner from Arsenal he won't make their 25 man squad. I'd also take a punt on Gary Hooper at Celtic. Seems to be a bit handy in front of goal, albeit in poorer leagues than the Prem. Wonder if we'd of got Berbatov on loan had Wellbeck not got injured at the weekend

Away to Forest in the next round

Cabaye is going to be a class act this season. Looks better with every game. Best worked hard but is shite. Marvaeux looked good in patches, can tell there's something about him. And Krul was great between the sticks, I've always rated him since the cracking game he had in Europe for us a few years back. My memory is shite seem to remember Luque scored and we won 1-0, against who I don't recall. Some Italian side anyway. Gosling was dreck, fair enough he's had no game time, but he gave the ball away every time he had it. Need two new strikers, a right back, a backup centre back and obviously a left back. Carlton Cole is bound to be the only incomming player we get sadly.

1-0 at the break and West Brom looking comfy. Long has worked hard but should of set Tchoyi up for an easy second. Chelsea have been shocking
-
Shambolic defending from Alex and Long puts WBA 1 up

On SSN now as breaking news, fuck sakes

I'm undecided what to think about this, Nolan has been great for us over the last two seasons. I just feel that when he's not putting the ball in the back of the net he doesn't really offer alot, especially when played in midfield. Be interesting who they bring in, whoever it is really needs to have an eye for goal. How many did Gardner net last season? Must of been Brum's top scorer
-
SSN reporting that we want Craig Gardner from Birmingham. Do we really need anymore midfielders?

12 million for a player in the last year of his contract? I think not. If we could get him for £4-5 mill then I'd take him back -
I'd of been ashamed to churn something that shite out as a first year doing Media studies. What a load of cock

Black Dynamite, cracking flick. Laughed my arse off throughout -
The Europa League is a load of shite anyway, should go back to a straight two legged knock out competition to make it more interesting
-
Another 14-16 points from those games I reckon. Home wins against Everton, Wolves, Brum and WBA. Along with a few points on the road. Might grab a point tomorrow night, dont think much of Birmingham really. Should see us well safe. Everton I can see getting sucked into trouble, they've been shocking whenever Ive seen them this season
-
Would of took a point before K/O but to dominate them like that and come away with only a point is a right shitter. Can't help thinking it would of been a game we would of dominated and lost in the relegation season though. Enrique was immense, Tiote his usual busy and composed self.

Stuck at work when the announcement broke and followed the betting since we priced it up. Pardew opened 9/1 and is now trading at 6/4. Rabbit off somewhere methinks
