Mixed up "guess the identity" and "hide the sausage". Easy mistake to make.

I only watch series' on the tablet and movies on the TV/computer. So that was the inverse of helpful, cheers.

Feckin' cheek of @The Fish not posting on his honeymoon.

Never heard of him.

I'll give you 2-1 odds on being right though.

Never even occurred to me to check Trakt. Will have a look this evening, cheers.

Depending on the skin, it'll show up in the information panel at the side of say InfoWall or in the right-click context menu in the information box. It's just that I'll browse through the "people watching" for new films that look interesting and then I have to I compared a bunch of them to tmdb/imdb and they didn't match. They also tend to have like 10% (maybe 20%) of the sample size on imdb which makes me think they might be really out of date ratings. Would be great if I could just plug Universal Scraper into Neptune (or any of its many incarnations).
-
OK, this one has to be me being thick: Where is Neptune pulling its ratings from? It's not up-to-date imdb or tmdb, that's for sure. Does anyone else have a problem with the ratings being basically useless for slightly new or lesser-known films because the sample is so small?

You may be taking things a bit too seriously.

Dan's still in purgatory.

Kind of with shotley on this tbh. I don't think I've had difficulty comprehending anything he's written (which is ultimately all that matters) in spite of some thoroughly bizarre attempts at quoting.

The Oscars have always been a load of tripe anyway.

Games always converge towards this though (and I think it ultimately makes them shite too). It's about exploitability. If 1992 Chelsea play 2018 Man City they get demolished because someone is always going to take the game to the next level and then the purists are fucked. On the flip side, people defo overanalyse when it's trendy and there's usually a way of exploiting that too. Like momentum and psychology are currently very hard things to account for in any kind of analysis but are (imo) crucial to many games and until deep learning owns all of our souls before breakfast, it's a big hole in their analysis. -

I think that's simplifying things to the point of irrelevance though.

I'm sure there used to be a way to change the default view to 'Wall' or whatever. I'm using Aeon Nox now and was using the default Kodi Krypton version before that and can't figure it out. I'm using Neptune Rising fwiw but I'm pretty sure it's a skin-level problem (or lower). It's kind of a pain to change it every time I move to the next page when browsing through movie lists. Am I being thick or can you not do this?

I'm not making a big deal out of it, I'm just bored today. I was more following up with you saying that something about @Haydnator's post made us sound delusional. Mike Ashley probably hasn't shat himself every time he's visited the boardroom either, which saves some money on cleaning expenses, but I'm not going to call that a beneficial decision either because it's not really a decision an adult has to make. -

You're arguing a technicality. Yes, you are right that Ashley ok'd a no-brainer decision to sign a world-class manager who turned up on the doorstep without anything proactive being done on the part of Newcastle United. But the spirit of @trooper's question is not technical. Did it require any kind of intelliigence, strategy, business acumen or planning ? Did it fuck. And Rafa would be gone every window since he's been here because of Ashley were it not for 1) the fans 2) Amanda Stavely and 3) Rafa's own strong sense of fairness. As I said, everything good that falls in his lap he seems to almost purposefully trainwreck with glee. Every decision he has made has been aggressively stupid. And you're going to argue that because he didn't stab Rafa in the neck with a pen instead of signing him that he's done something to benefit the club?
