  1. Why have you put Souness in inverted commas? Like, if that is indeed his real name! Is there something you're not telling us?

    Spreadsheet question

I was wondering how long it would take someone to comment on that...NERD!

I honestly haven't got a clue what you're talking about.

I'm having trouble following the plot myself. At first they thought his brother Bobby did it, then it turned out it was all a dream!

Patronise! We've give you t'vote, you've got excellent career opportunities like nursing, teaching or even Greggs. Honestly, women - give them an inch, they'll want six... <--
  6. Just listened to a few, they're classic, shame you can't have all the clips from a volume sewn together.
  7. Boumsong's confidence is suffering due to a bad run. He was good last season without ever really excelling. The jury's still out but writing him off now seems rash to me.
  8. That was one of the worst football matches I've ever watched though. I'm happy we won and the table makes much better reading but it's a bit like that 10 game winning streak we went on. Through it all I just kept thinking, but we're not playing well, this can't end well.
  9. I know, I didn't think it was aimed at me, can see how that was inferred though.
  10. That seems a bit silly, the replay showed a fairly obvious sly tug on Bellamy with similarly obvious intentions. If he then comes out and says different to what the replays show he'll get a reputation for being devious. And that will have an impact on how referees treat him on match day.
  11. Christ, some of you people have good memories, how many of my ludicrous opinions are going to come back and bite me in the arse when I don't even remember saying them? Acceptable? Top 6 and a cup (I subscribe to the propaganda!) but we need to be challenging for the 4th spot right to the end.
  12. Any mention of where Ireland is on that list? I might just have to and find that report but I reckon it's ranking close behind the UK. Surprised to see Italy doing so well, for no good reason.

No, not really mate. I've put across my reasons as best I can but the last comment's clearly tongue in cheek. I can understand why ScaryCatLady has reacted like that when she feels personally about it, plus being a woman she'll have certain disadvantages I have to take into account.

Glad I'm not the only one to be thinking that way. I have a close friend and a couple of relatives who work in the police force and I know for a fact that it's not a job I could do. Very easy to criticize by people who haven't got the first fucking clue as to some of the things the police have to deal with though by the looks of things.. 34937[/snapback] My opinion of the police is based on anecdotal evidence as of course is my opinion of charvers. My experiences are admittedly mainly with Irish cops but I have lived in England for a couple of years and do know 2 ex Met cops, both of whom left. I don't believe in bad people but victims of cirumstance, I think a bad cop is a victim of much better circumstances than alot of these charvers. Why get so uproarious about a couple of rather tame opinions of cops when there are some far more brutal opinions of the other? I think ideally each person must be judged individually and ultimately we are all responsible for each other's actions but in practical terms I have to lay blame and make generalisations. Opinions should never be made emotionally but you only have to read this thread to realise they are. And no, I don't particularly have anything to hide, I am though a private person when it comes to government. Do you not think it's a little ironic to make the judgement I've highlighted? And I've just read you telling Wacky to get off his high horse in another thread. Why? Did you want to borrow it?
