1. Could be a good idea, could be a terrrible idea, thought it would be fun to guess what song the line was from and then put another in, and so on. I'm starting with an obscure one but I think anyone who's heard it will remember it and that's probably quite a few on this board. Obviously it's easy to cheat but only AF would do that! Anyway... "What will happen in the evening in the forest with the weasel with the teeth that bite so sharp when you're not looking in the evening."
2. According to that link he won the CL with Valencia in '97. Mind you people often quote Wikipedia as a good source without realising how easy it is to edit (read the 'playing career' section to see what I mean).
3. Haven't a baldy. The last time I said I thought he was decent someone said he had a shite record abroad. Which of course I couldn't argue as I know nothing about 'foreign' football nowadays. If what you say is true then that would seem quite good. This makes interesting reading. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudio_Ranieri.
4. Yep. As I think I said somewhere else, why's Taylor not getting slated for the Wigan goal? I like to judge central defenders in terms of partnerships. I think Bramble and Taylor would be awful - 2 bulls and no brains. Boumsong is not the kind of defender that gets the blood rushing and the crowd going but he's an important part of a partnership. He's got a crisis of confidence at the moment but I see as much potential with him as I saw with Bramble (I expect to be fairly lonely on that opinion again). He was getting used to the pace of the Premiership before this little mental niggle and I think it's affecting his heading, positioning, etc. badly. Him and Bramble first choice for me.
5. I thought he was doing a decent job for them before Abramovich turned up, with a very thin squad. He also very quickly reduced the average age of the squad, on a small budget and got results. His team played attractive football and he signed good players and developed others very well. I'm under the impression his record in Italy and Spain leaves alot to be desired but I don't know anything about that so I can't comment.
6. Agreed. He's also a Serbian war criminal wanted by the UN, he'll sort us out!

Ooh, that's low. He'd need to crawl through a few miles of verbal shite before he'd be even close! If losing the rag on this forum is a measure for becoming the lowest of the low we're both in some trouble.
8. I don't think it's too fair to label Ranieri a clown, thought he did a reasonable job at Chelsea. I do think Souness has lowered standards though, I reckon I'd cry for joy if we got O'Leary in. Just over 12 months ago that thought was not a pleasant one.

Admin request: Can one of you please change this thread title to "GF spat his dummy".
10. So I'll know who that creepy dwarf is on the park bench if I ever walk through, just staring with a mad leer (lyre?) and a menacing glint in his eye.
11. That'll be Gosford Park I was thinking of, easy mistake to make...
12. Where do we stand on black paedophiles? (Their nads I suppose).

Heavily research my insults? Not often, no. I'm taking the piss GF. I think I've caught you on an off day.
14. I'm on a wind-up mate, you're all alone I'm afraid! Lend us some drugs...
15. I wanted him to be. All proud of even a plastic Paddy in a major role (we have to take what we can get). But his one liners had me hiding behind the couch. Thought I was watching a fecking horror movie.

If I was Daddy I'd be asking for a refund from your posh as feck school.
17. A bit bloody waifish, don't you think! I thought Daniel Craig or Clive Owen would get it, wasn't fussed either way. They'd both be a big improvement on Brosnan - fecking cringeworthy. Clive Owen's been good in anything I've seen him in, but I haven't seen King Arthur. I can think of Gosforth Park and Closer off hand - both excellent performances.
18. Is that Whoopie Goldberg's character?
19. Wouldn't be surprised if they were filled with Blackburn fans, soon to be followed by Newcastle fans! I had a quick search and a cursory look showed up nothing but kids looking for help and people trying to help them/chat to them about it. I'd also have to question how much of a part the internet really played in that pair's suicides, they looked to be heading that way. A bit more time spent on why people end up there in the first place and, sorry, but a little less moaning from parents about government 'copping out' on censorship and more time wondering why they missed the fact that their children were in such a state. I'd agree with Renton. On the surface this is grand, just do it for this one thing and help save a few lives. Then people start asking questions about searches for "abortion", "marijuana" and "lesbian grannies milking cats".
20. Should search engines mess with their search results when it comes to searches like 'suicide'? In cases where they could save lives. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,...1589260,00.html
21. Your either joking or you are on drugs. 46588 He's right! And that Bryan Adams ditty, best song ever, FACT.
22. I think its because of Gullit that Shepherd is now "anti-foreign". On the other ones I don't like that they turned us down - one of the positive things about Souness is how he didn't hesitate - I know that will be twisted to him knowing he was on his way out but I still got the sense of him being eager to come to us - none of this "I haven't finished my work at Bolton" bollock. 46559 I don't see Allardyce's loyalty to his current club as a negative. If he came now you know he'd give us the same. O'Leary as a person drives me nuts but as a manager I'd have him, seems very good on the youth side of things and he's a motivator. Milner looked good for him yesterday - put in a few decent crosses. Can someone please explain to me why he coudn't be taught that at Newcastle? Yes Souness was eager, so was I. In retrospect maybe I should have pushed harder for it. Maybe the whole of Newcastle could have hated me for finishing 8th instead of us ending up 14th. Why is his eagerness a bonus but Allardyce's loyalty (and forward thinking) not? I bet Roeder would have been eager too. You could be right about Gullit & Shepherd, I really have no idea, how much of that is speculation?
23. You would like a medal for it though, wouldn't you? Seriously, when he was hired it hit me in the pit of my stomach, I was horrified. He was probably my least favourite manager at that point. Backing up criminals like Lucas Neill, falling out with players left, right and centre. But when he was in I had to say get behind him because this is the best that could be got. I think you'll find most people's first reaction was one of horror. NJS - I'd rather have both Allardyce and O'Leary than Souness, possibly even Bruce. Also did Shepherd not hire Gullit, he being a dirty foreigner.
24. That's a great idea, but you just know there'll be a bunch of 'outraged' muppets who'll feck of home for a fish supper after their moan. I can't believe they're booing Jenas already, they're better at it though, spurred him on to an assist and a goal - which I think is more than he achieved for us in the last 2 years. Do they give lessons? Oh, and I agree with that bloke who said boo the team but not the individual, if needed at half time/full time.
